Reckless yeah but he was going to be subjected to a 10 day quarantine no matter what so even if he got the virus, it wouldn't had spread in the bubble. Much different situation than baseball where these guys are not subjected to Quarantine and can do whatever they want before/after games like covid-19 doesn't exist

The baseball system is destined to fail as a result, but somehow it has only been the Marlins that have tested positive for quite a while now.

In Lou's case, had he contracted the virus, he's likely subject to longer quarantine. He was adding to risk to that case.

I think it is time.

Not nearly as bad as some. But probably just better to get it over with and change it.

Also, if done the right way and with community engagement, it can even lead to a new revenue stream for the team when the fans go out and get their new apparel.

In other words, they need to take their time and make sure they have a new name the fans can get excited about. “The Cleveland Baseball Team” probably won’t go over well.
