Had a morbid curiosity to take a peek.

Figured it was nothing I haven't seen before, and it wasn't.

Still.....

I had to go lay down for a bit after Gianna's.

I couldn't bring myself to read about any of the others.

Nobody deserves to go out like that.

Especially children who had no say and never got a chance to really live.

The ESPN article was enough for me. I understand a helicopter crashing into a mountain at 200 mph and then a fire after likely means some pretty grotesque stuff.

My step dad is a retired train engineer. He's hit several people who walked across his tracks. I'd imagine his stories line up pretty close with that

no chance in hell this can be allowed, just opens up too many things.

I didn't think a top 3 player in the league would be allowed to join a stacked GSW championship team either but Kevin Durant certainly did...

Ummmm.

Not allowed?

They had the cap space to sign a max player. Literally nothing the league can do to block a move like that.

This is a lot different. Still not sure what the league will do, but Dinwiddy’s plan is to circumvent the cap and make his money elsewhere. If that isn’t already specifically prohibited in the CBA expect that loophole to be closed soon.

I think he was being facetious

Agreed it would only take one or two deals like this for it to be specifically ruled out

I know he was.

point is 29 fan bases will be pissed off, 1 very happy if this is allowed.

They made some tweaks to create super max contracts.

Still absolutely nothing preventing a team with the cap space to sign a max player to do that.

This is nothing at all alike. Dinwiddy is trying to create a max contract on a gofundme page so he can play somewhere on a minimum deal. The Warriors didn’t circumvent the cap to get KD, they just happened to have 3 stars who weren’t yet eligible for max deals and benefitted from the timing of the cap spike.

If a team in the future is able to get really good with multiple players still on rookie and pre-supermax contracts, they will still be able to do exactly what the Warriors did. It just doesn’t happen very often.

These 2 situations are absolutely nothing alike aside from the fact that both are potentially bad for competition.

Driving around in circles for 3+ hours while wearing an adult diaper isn't a sport.

LOL.

I think a strong case can be made that anything you can play while wearing an adult diaper is probably not a sport.

I still think he's the GOAT (although it's close with LeBron) I just get annoyed when the convo basically devolves to "well it's MJ so they aren't losing". There are quite a few teams over the last two decades that could have given them a run. And for some when you say that it's like its the craziest notion in history.
Yep. always say still MJ....only issue is those who say Lebron could never pass him and/or not even in the conversation.
