Been watching the 2008 Davidson vs OU tournament game, Blake Griffin vs Curry. Man Griffin was a dominant college basketball player, don’t see someone that dominant every year.
That's why GOAT discussions are ultimately a fools errand.
Never mind that even if you're discussing the greatest player of a specific era the criteria used is going to be different from person to person.
Trying to discuss players across eras when rules and styles of play seem to change with each era and we learn and invent new advances in training and medicine, it becomes impossible.

And I think most would agree that LeBron faced greater competition in the Finals. Spurs and Warriors in 7 of the 9 Finals would make it tough for anyone to have a winning record.
Dude is still my favorite current player.Been watching the 2008 Davidson vs OU tournament game, Blake Griffin vs Curry. Man Griffin was a dominant college basketball player, don’t see someone that dominant every year.

Hate how the Clippers did him, even if it was absolutely the right decision.
I hope he gets healthy. That Kamikaze style of play doesn't usually lead to longevity.
Thankfully, he stopped trying to run thru, jump over everyone and has developed a jumper and a decent 3 ball.
You guys can have him back for Kawhi
Would a Jared Dudley interest you at all?
Yup, just like NBA legends Marcus Camby, Joe Smith, and Danny Ferry.Been watching the 2008 Davidson vs OU tournament game, Blake Griffin vs Curry. Man Griffin was a dominant college basketball player, don’t see someone that dominant every year.

Yes I know Blake had a better career than them. I just remember thinking those guys would dominate in the NBA lol.

Yeah but everyone knew he would be a bust.
There's news stories about autopsy reports from the Kobe Bryant crash.
Word of advice: do NOT read them
Yeah but everyone knew he would be a bust.
Too late. Already did but yeah don't read them if you can avoid it.
That was rough
I thought that was kind of his rep but maybe it was just meWe did?
People can't have it both ways though..
You can't put Bill Russell in the top 10 because he was the ultimate winner. But, not hold it against Jerry West, Wilt, Lebron.
I admit that I am hooooorrrible at comparing eras and usually leave that to my betters.
But, I haven't seen a single shred of evidence that proves Russell was better than Shaq, Dream nor Wilt...
......outside of jewelry.
Again: I am not good at this.
But, Russell looks like Ben Wallace at worst, Alonzo Mourning at best.
Imo.....
Chips are the the tie breaker when all other things are equal.
Horry has rings on both hands. But, he was not even in Malone's zip code.
Malone was right there with Duncan. But, Duncan gets the nod because...ringz.
That's how I see the Lebron/Jordan debate.
As much as it pains me to say this, Lebron is better than Magic.
He is.
....on both sides of the ball.
I don't think that can be definitively proven against Jordan.
LeBron is the better creator and rebounder.
I 'd take Jordan everywhere else.
Plus, their hearts aren't the same.
I think it's clear Jordan is the GOAT.
But, Lebron is on his ass for sure.
