Why do we have like 4 million head coaching games behind our bench and we keep shooting ourselves in the foot on challeneges?

This is driving me crazy. They're 0-3 and on all 3 of them on the first replay you could tell there was no way they were overturning it. The closest one was the first one, the offsides challenge. But there were guys in the way of a clear view of it, so you know it was going to be inconclusive at best and therefore they'd lose the challenge.

well all I hope for now is Oskar gets the rest of the cobwebs off for next game and really make their dmen have to work OT. Try to disrupt their whole game plan.

They showed a pic of Couts in the stands during OT and it didn't look like he had a big brace or crutches, which is maybe a good sign? He'd be a big boost tomorrow.

29 turnovers and 6 take aways just isn't going to get it done in game 7.

We really need to pick it up in this area.

Im talking to you Myers and Sanheim.

They are holding the puck too long. Sanheim blew it on the 4th goal.

Me to, my wife wondered what was going on at the start when both teams were pounding their sticks. When I explained it to her, she said hockey is awesome lol.
Similar thing here. When I explained what was going on, she said that was nice and then asked me if I would go and get her Dairy Queen!

Giving G some props since he's been slammed in here quite a bit over the past couple weeks.

In the two elimination games he's got 3 points, +2, in 51:48 minutes (led all forwards on both teams with 31:33 last night), 58% and 62% in the FO dot (also took 56% of all the draws last night). His assists were on the OT winner in game 5 and the tying goal in the 3rd period of game 6.

Last night he also led the Flyers in defensive zone starts with 18. Aside from his linemates, the next closest was Provorov with 9. Him and Jake also led that category in game 5.

It only took a month but Gee has finally joined the rest of the team at the playoffs.

'Kudos for joining us when we needed you the most. :clap2:

Also, if you were thinking "man the Flyers are spending shift after shift in their own zone", like we all were. 6 guys had a 5on5 CF% over 50 (meaning they took more shots than the Isles while on the ice), Claude Giroux and his linemates were 3 of the 6. (Raffl, NAK, and oddly Hagg, were the other 3). xGF% (same stat but basically taking into account where the shots were coming from), tells the exact same story.

Wouldn't you say leaders come through when you need them most?

We had 64 hits last night.

Laughton lead the way with 9.:clap::clap:

I would love to see this playoff springboard Laughton. Getting to play with G and Jake has helped his offense the last game and a half. Would be awesome to see him carry that forward.

He's the guy I look to when I really want to see someone get laid out on the other team to get the energy going. Him or NAK.

Its a shame that Laughton has to do the laying out. I thought we brought in Grant and Thompson for that job and they simply arent willing to take that role.

Can someone also explain to me.why Grant has been playing on the power play?
He has been pretty useless all over the ice.

This post deserves a second quote.
Team leaders should never be invisible in the playoffs. If they arent scoring they do some hitting if that isn't available they do some digging at the goalie in front if that isnt available do some pushing and shoving if not they are killing penalties. There are many other parts of the game other than offense.

If disappearing for a month and then scoring a goal or two the last few games makes you a leader we might as well put the C on JVR

Benching Laughts obviously worked hopefully he's great all the way to the cup. His goal was a beauty.
