Big Buff 4 goal 27 asists 31 points +4 $6 million
Hagg 3 goals 10 assists 13 points +14 $1.15 million
2 things, Buff didn't play the whole season , and Haggs sissy ass don't light folks up on any level like Buff. It doesn't have to necessarily be Buff either. I just want someone on the backend whom forwards don't want to constantly get hit by.

Hagg 49 games 25 years old
Big Buff 42 games 34 years old

You'd be searching for a long time to find a 207 pound defenseman that makes $1.15 million who was +14.There is only 1 defenseman that needs to go and that's Braun.

Again, not saying it necessarily has to be Buff, just someone of that caliber of toughness.

Buff is done anyway he's falling apart mainly due to his size. In hindsight if they got Webber he would be the man here.

Hagg is never going to be that guy. He'll be solid but his play now is about where it's going to stay IMO.
I think he can get stronger and more positionally sound with experience. He doesn’t need to grow into a top 4.

Imagine if he gets stronger and more positionally sound he would be +30.

AV and staff seem to really think the LH stick RH stick thing in pairings makes a difference so I’ll defer to them who have already forgotten more about hockey than I’ll ever know but I think in looking at their games that Ghost and Haggs could be a good pair if given time to develop chemistry.

Weber would've been a ton of fun.

But that offer sheet would've cost them the Morin, Sanheim, Provorov, and Rubtsov picks though. Short term it would've been great, but for the sake of today's team, I'm glad Nashville matched. (could obviously argue that with Weber they don't have the #7 pick that was used for Provorov)

That player with the caliber of toughness of Buff you are searching for should be replacing Braun not Hagg.
I'm good with Hagg lol. He's going to be a solid guy going forward, and yes he will hit but, he's a Swede and they are usually soft as medicated cotton. The Montreal series was very telling how little forwards were able to win battle after battle along the boards. I mean come on Nisky broke dudes jaw out of frustration and because dude was short. I think getting rid of braun and packaging Ghost up would be a good lure. It's a big hole that needs addressed and like I said, it def doesn't have to be Big Buff, so get beyond that lol. No where do I want to get rid of Hagg, I just want some more size and a little nastiness.

Yes agreed they did well with the pics and Webber is getting older now. Hard to say if they would have had more success anyway with Webber.

This hypothetical player you’re creating better be able to skate. I don’t want to see a Bundy or Luke Richardson type player back there again.

Game 6 tonight boys:suds:. We really need Couts in this game. I have not seen anything on the internet yet that has any status on him. My guess it may be a game time decision.

Yeah, I don’t expect anything on his status until 6:30-6:40.

How about old Darrien (Pylon) Hatcher?
Ha! Man there was a time there where it seemed like Snider made it his job to give aging former stars the money they never made but earned elsewhere. Coffey Hawerchuk (RIP) etc...
