Playing great on the road this last few weeks is the difference between being a team battling for the last wild card spot and challenging for the top spot. i would love to know what changed after looking so bad for so long on the road.

I also thought Laughton didn't back down to anyone out there and that was nice to see.

I think the refs really sucked last night and let Wilson continually get away with some real cheap crap. Provy put a good, clean, hard hit on OV and Wilson comes over and cross checks Provy in the back 2 times with the ref looking at him. He tried to run G and take out his knee well after the puck was gone with ref looking right at him. Total BS.

Absolutely agree. For the vast majority of the game, I'm wondering how Tom Wilson hasn't been kicked out of the league due to multiple suspensions. Yes, he has some actual hockey skill, but this guy also appears to run around all night long, attempting to injure people. He somehow avoids what should be easy penalty calls and I just think the guy is plain dirty to the core.

That said, how much do we love our team and the way they are performing right now?

You almost can't put into words how resilient we are, how strong our team defense is and the constant support of one another in every zone of the ice.

Another top team throws everything they have at us in their building and they go down swinging. I honestly think the former champs at this point just know we're better than them.

Now, as I said earlier, let's go win this division and march to the Stanley Cup!!

Dam n this Flyers team is hawt. Only 1 point now behind the Caps and won the series. Let's keep it rolling. Hopefully JvR doesn't have a broken hand.

Technically we had the season series won already before the game last night, which shows you how badly we've smacked them around this season.

28-9-5 vs. the East and 15-4-4 vs. the Metro

Pretty ridiculous.

I hope JvR is alright, but I'm also not at all worried if we lose him long term because we have the depth to cover it. It could in some ways even be a blessing in disguise.

It looks like Farabee is on the second line with Laughton going to the 3rd.

JVR’s scoring in a depth role is something the Flyers will miss

This is exactly what i mean about this Big Puss getting pumped up by the media more than anyone in the league. You can add all of those guys salaries and they still make 2 million combined less than he does.
They are praising him for doing what guys who make .925 for doing the same thing.

I dont want to mess with the chemistry that Laughton has been playing with the last few weeks but if it was a choice to play third line and let Farabee play second line i think Laughton could handle it better.

I'm going with Provorov! He's been playing very well of late.
