I would like to give Lindblom the proper credit he deserves for this season so far. He leads the team with 9 goals and is tied for third on the team in points with 16. He also has been a force on the PK and has been our third best PKer behind our two specialists. I would think besides TK he has been our 2nd best player at this point in the season.

Too many of our games are going to the shootout, obviously. We've been dominant in the overtimes, having not lost in one yet, but have also somehow only finished one of them.

We're not playing very well with the lead and that is perhaps a symptom of a young team with new coaches that is finding its identity.

Nice win tonight. Hart had a pretty easy night in net.
I still don't see the logic in benching Ghost. But oh well not my money. I like the top two lines tonight. I hope AV See's to keep them together. JVRblooks right at home on the fourth line. Hope he stays there until he learns how tonight for a puck.
Oh by the way, Frost is more than NHL ready, so far his size isn't an issue and the game is def not moving to fast for him.

Still cant figure out why all of the other bottom 4 have sat in the box while Justin Braun is still out there

Ghost 6 points on the year and minus 6

Braun 3 points on the year and minus 12

Please tell me which player deserves to sit?
I think that they're going by size and Braun kills penalties. You can't deny that the PK has been better. I'd still like to see Ghost in there but they've been going with Hagg.

Agreed on Frost he doesn't look out of place. He did screw up on that goal in the defensive end a few games back but he's still figuring things out so far the positives outweigh the negatives. With Laughton back this teams pretty deep they had a ton of shots but for some reason goalies are damn hot. Rittich was crazy good on Sat.

Tonight is another game the Flyers should win handily..... But that doesn't seem to be our 'thing'...

Hoping the Flyers continuously wipe that smirk off of Tortellini's face tonight.

TK with the first two goals tonight.

Look at the depth we have now with Laughton and Pitlick seemingly back to 100% and finally on the scoreboard too. Pitlick does his best Mike Richard's impersonation with the effort play on our first goal. Laughton finishes off a beautiful pass from Farabee. Giroux finally makes them pay on the power play and I think we locked it down pretty well in the 3rd considering they threw everything they had at us. Elliott was forced to make a few solid saves, but I don't think he was under siege often or anything.

Voracek has been competing at a higher level now too over the last couple of games, which also does wonders for the depth. Maybe some of Couturier's hustle and defense is rubbing off on him.

Overall, it's a big 3-2 regulation win over a lesser division rival, but also on the road. Hard to believe we hadn't won in regulation there since 2005. No reason at all for that shit. It's a tough division we're going to have to overcome, sitting tied for 9th in the Nhl overall, but only tied for 4th in our own division...Lol Need to win more of these in regulation or OT.

A 6-1 win over the Wings combined with regulation losses by the Pens and Canes pushes us ahead of both of them in the Metro.

Slow start earlier today, but Hart held us in the contest until our offense came around with some very quick strikes late in the 2nd and early in the 3rd.

The Wings seem to be cursed against us ever since they stole a Cup from our Legion of Doom in '97 to end the longest drought in the Nhl at the time of 42 seasons with zero regulation wins in Philly since.

I'm just fine with that too. Fuck the Red Wings for all eternity...Lol They had their time and now it's our turn.

It should be 5 wins in a row for us, but we obviously choked away the Calgary game. Let's see what happens tomorrow afternoon against Montreal.
