That could be a solid third line but I could care less who plays together if they play like last night ill be a happy camper.
I'm not going to comment on this team anymore, if you say something negative than it's all up in arms. We'll see where this team is come December then I'll say something. I truly hope they show up consistently from here on out.

This board is for positive comments as well as negative comments and anyone who is offended by either should go out and get themselves an emotional support dog.

really like the way Raffl has been playing

hopefully its just a bruise
On pace for a 40 point season and playing well on the PK as well as hitting on the 4th line. He is playing his role as good as anyone on the team so far. Im with you i really hope he doesn't miss any time.

The aggressiveness on the PK is a major difference this year. I liked the way we were taking away the drop pass coming up the middle. On on occasion the almost dropped it to Hayes. Whoever is coaching the PK adapted to take away the way the Hawks wanted to enter the zone. It threw off their rhythm several times.

Agree with you guys on Raffl. I'd hate to see him miss significant time, he's playing great.

Agreed!

And speaking of Hayes, I did not expect him to pose a decent threat to score on the PK. He definitely looks to skate the puck out when he can and even go to the net if the D gives him the space. I really like that aspect of his PK'ing in particular.

Hayes has been phenomenal on the PK this year and when teamed up with Couts they are as good as we've ever had on the PK

My wife and I went to see our daughter in Austin last week. As soon as we take off we notice a nose squeezing between the seats in from of us. Shortly thereafter a very cute little dog was staring at us. The woman turned and I asked if it was a service dog, no "it's my emotional support dog." She sounded like she believed her own BS.

  • Amazing what a challenge at the blue line can do, and it's the forwards doing it. That's the best part.

It would be funny to get on a plane with a cage covered with a towel and lots of angry growls coming from it. Maybe a few cage rattles.

If you had to pick two guys to score for the betterment of the team, it would've been JvR and Giroux. If you had to pick a third, perhaps it'd be Farabee, who had no less than two clear breakaways, one of which he finished nicely that was a hair offsides and the other during which he was far too unselfish (and probably scores if he takes it straight to the net).

So, you feel bad for the kid, but also excited for the future considering he's only 19...
