It's a dynamic sub-package worthy of getting excited for... But not if it means zone defense.i knew it! i hope it works out

exactly, zone d has never been our thingIt's a dynamic sub-package worthy of getting excited for... But not if it means zone defense.
You can put a pro-bowl caliber defense back there in zone and guys like Brady will tear it apart for 4 quarters.exactly, zone d has never been our thing

Steelers QB index:
1) Ben Roethlisberger: Arm strength very much intact, a few interceptions thus far but one was on what appeared to be a broken play on a deep ball. Most throws have been on target and in rhythm. Has shown fire by jumping on receivers for not locating the ball on deep throws. And he ran a QB sneak! (Untouched, of course)
2) Landry Jones: He will be hard to cut, or trade. He's having a solid camp and the Steelers will need him. He has the respect of Antonio Brown, who communicates with Jones often when he's running with the first team if Big Ben sits a few out. He's limited mistakes for the most part.
3a) Mason Rudolph: Has shown slight improvement despite ball security issues. Several times the ball has slipped out of his hands mid-throwing motion. He also threw a pick in seven-on-seven work, which is not ideal. But the arm talent is there. On Thursday, he threw back-to-back bullets to the sideline to camp hopefuls Damoun Patterson and Tevin Jones. And he connected with James Washington on a deep ball early in camp. After Thursday's practice, Rudolph stayed behind a good 20 minutes working with backup tight ends and running routes exactly how he wanted them.
3b) Josh Dobbs: Has had a few bright moments but overall an erratic camp, which was punctuated by two pick-sixes to Brian Allen and Jordan Dangerfield in a red-zone drill. Was a brutal sequence. The decision-making and accuracy remains a struggle, but he's made enough good throws to stay in the hunt for the third spot.
Started slow but finished very strong in camp. Looked great, but he hasn't been hit yet. So we'll have to see how he responds to the preseason games.whats the word on mason rudolph
