worst starting lineup LeBron has played with maybe in his career. At least right now.-- or at least since he went to Miami
Depends on how they gel....

Kuz gonna have to lower the volume on his shot attempts though.

Replacing Kuzma with Randle would have looked much better because Kuz would have been a dope ass 6th man.

Still possible to keep Randle, but the Lakers are still going to need to try to keep some cap flexibility. In the event Kawhi is traded somewhere else, they'll need to try to retain some space next year. Also the question becomes do they go all out and try to get Boogie this year or do you wait a year and get Kawhi as a free agent. If they don't pull a trade for Kawhi, they can't realistically get both.

Howard or Brook Lopez?

Lopez because he adds a different dimension to the team if I had a choice. Plus no guarantees on Howard being able to take a backseat and be a true role player on this team. Will he be fine posting lines like 8 and 12 or 9 and 9 on a consistent basis?

The Warriors are going to be banking on Jones and Bell to take up a larger role at the 5 this year. Both are just super athletes who can finish at the rim and block shots. Their skill sets are similar to Howards, although on a much lesser scale.

Lopez you could use as a scorer on the second unit, which is much needed. He'll also boost our 3 point shooting, which after Steph, Klay and KD was atrocious last year. Seriously, check it out. It was horrible.

I would too.

But the Lakers aren't winning anything without another star. Javale Mcghee, Lance Stephenson, and KCP ain't getting it done.
unless they deal for Kawhi its doubtful the Lakers even make the Conference Finals, let alone the Finals......

i'd say its 50/50 they even win a playoff series this year.

Its why i am still shocked. This will be the first time in over a decade that going into the season LeBron will have practically no shot of getting to the Finals (or even the conference finals)

Howard or Brook Lopez?

Who do you guys want to sweep in the Finals next year...

Celtics, 76ers or Barney?

I'd much, much rather play the 76ers than the Celtics. 76ers are a much easier matchup based on their skillsets. I think the Celtics are much more challenging the way they run their offense and with the wing athletes they can throw at you. If the 76ers get Kawhi, my opinion might change, but right now, I'd much rather see the 76ers.

I don't know how true this is...

But, I would see if the Spurs had interest in Randle and sign and trade him with parts for KAwhi.

Julius Randle went, in one season, from a cap casualty to legitimately valuable role player. It seems that wasn’t enough to convince the Lakers to make him feel wanted, though, according to NBA.com’s David Aldridge. This would be quite a disappointing development in an offseason that’s already seen the Los Angeles Lakers miss out on Paul George. Here’s what Aldridge had to say about what he’s heard regarding talks between Randle and the Lakers: “Julius Randle has made it clear that I don’t think he really wants to be back there, so are you putting money into a guy that doesn’t really want to be back there?”

ESPN Insider Bobby Marks said it is going to be “extremely hard” for the Lakers to try and strike deals for Cousins or Spurs target Kawhi Leonard now that they have no salary cap space to wiggle with. “Boogie Cousins is unrealistic (for the Lakers),” Marks said.

Lebron will get 1 series for sure. There's lots of talent in the West, but teams like Portland, New Orleans, Denver, Utah and even OKC are unreliable.

I can't imagine the Sixers would look to trade Reddick even if they could.

Getting him doesn't stop them from getting Kawhi.

At this point if I was Kawhi I would rather go to Philly. West is loaded, 76ers loaded with young talent, I would sign long term and screw Lebron and the Lakers. The Lakers would have to depend on Courins or 2nd tiers players next year or their young players to develop quicker. The Lakers are depending on Kawhi either this year or next, isn’t the smartest thing with a loaded West

Depending on the matchup, 2nd round as currently constructed.

I'm not as sold as some on the Thunder or Minny.

Pelicans are crazy if they believe last Season is sustainable without a healthy Boogie.

But, I like Denver and the Jazz to take another step up too.

Yeah Lebron and young players could take a series depending what seed they get. It all depends how the young core develops in Lonzo, Ingram, Kuzma and possibly Randle. If NO gets Boogie back and he is healthy, they are dangerous. Then you have Houston, GS, OKC (yeah I know) but with one year together.

I have no idea what primarily motivates Kawhi.

Agree.

If Lebron, Luke and co can keep the Mcgee, Lance , Lavar clown car from derailing....

Winning 1 playoff series should be their floor.

The Lakers are signing players to 1 year deals for this coming season.

Yeah that is the issue. Right now, it seems like he wants LA and only LA but who knows the guy doesn’t say shit
