How many years was the 80 mill extension for?
I'm not sure.

5 years is a lowball offer.

4 years?

There were some RFA guys w/o got the overpay...

* looking right at you Zac Levine*

But, is Tobias Harris 20 million more a year better than Julius Randle?

Imma say no.

lol

He was a Lakers fan who used to love to troll the Lebroniacs. One of the more creative trolls too.

Dude used to post negative shit about Lebron and get the Lebroniacs all riled up.

Lebron being on PED's was one of his favorite go to's. He'd even back up his claims by posting articles from obscure websites that had to be either ones he made up himself or were some 15 year old in their Mom's basement.

Once folks figured out his schtick, they'd have fun with it. But man, he used to piss some folks off. lol

I think the PF was his undoing.

Another sign he said showed signs of Lebron being on steroids, was when Lebron yelled at his mom at a game. He said that was roid rage lol.

He is said Lebron's large jaw bone was a sign too lol. One of his names for Lebron was LeRoids.

Remember he blamed Lebron for letting this country down be leading us to a Bronze medal and called him LeBronze lol?

Lot more bigger names will be free agents as well.

True. But not that many. Right now there are 15 or so teams projected to have 20+ million in cap space and 6 teams with 40+ million.

Once those 4 or 5 guys get gobbled up, assuming they all actually hit the FA market, there will be a lot of teams with money burning a hole in their pockets.

No....he's not that much better than Randle.

If it was 4 years and 80 million....that's fair IMO.

Max, 22-23 million per for Harris.

I like him but he's not a #1 option on a playoff team.

Durant, Klay, Butler, Kyrie, Gasol, Kemba, Middleton, Jordan, Horford, Boogie if he plays well will all see bigger pay days next year than Tobias.

That doesn't even take RFA that teams may want to keep into consideration.

I put him in the Randle, Redick tier.

Teams will give him a look after the big names are gone.

But, I think the days of the massive overpays are coming to a end.

I like him and want to keep him.

But, not for more than 20-22 per and nowhere near 30.

Oh he's definitely not getting 30 million per. I agree he is more of a 20+ guy. But I get why he wants to wait and try for a 100 mill+ contract.

Yep.

Me too.

As long as he doesn't get hurt, that deal will be available next Summer.

I want to see what the Bledsoe's and the Rubio's of the world get paid next Summer.

I don't see any of the top RFA's not getting matched.

* Porzingis, Towns*

But, would they take the QO to become UFA sooner?

Maybe Towns....

He seems unhappy. But, that's a ton of money so....

I'd go the Stephen Jackson route of signing to a big deal, then immediately demanding a trade. Get the cash out while you can.

So their worst case scenario is they have to play one additional year for a franchise they hate? Could be worse ways to earn 150M.

I hope he stays in Utah.

Donovan held the point down in the playoffs.

But, I'm not sure about him playing there full-time.

He has a scorers mentality.

But, I guess he could be a poor man's Harden?

Yeah, no Shit....lol

I think the Timberpups need to just walk back handing Thibbs the keys to the castle.

He can't let go off yesteryear and team chemistry is Shit.

Even if they keep Towns, they are not a playoff team when Jimmy walks.

By all accounts, he hates Towns and Wiggins....

So, why would he stay?

Yeah.....in the WC, take Butler off that team and they are a 37-38 win team IMO.

Rubio played really well in Utah....it's a good fit IMO.

And he made a career-high 42% and 35%....respectable.
