...and you are correct.

But, it's a matter of timing.

Draymond is under contract next Season.

So, they don't have to make that choice now.

They can sign Klay and worry about it the year after.

Imo.....Dray is the guy that's least likely to take a haircut in pay.

So, if the tax is to steep, they won't have any issues trading Klay if he has multiple years left on his deal.

He's not leaving the Warriors unless it's by their choice.

I know.

I agree with Sushi actually....sign Thompson and then trade him if needed.

Personal attacks usually happen when someone can't debate the actual facts because said facts are usually in favor of the other person.

I appreciate the support @DJ but it's pretty common practice here. You know that. :)
See....this is what I was talking about.

You got this....lol

You do realise it's not personal, right?

I was simply commenting on something I disagreed with.
Yea your posts lately have felt like digs. But I'm a big girl.

Yeah...But, you are in the West.

The Cavs would have been out in the first round if they played out West.

The Lakers are a 2nd round out...imo

Baby steps....

Getting to the Playoffs, getting that experience is step 1.

Next year, if you get a max guy, you guys will be true contenders.

Why you trying to run before you learn how to crawl?...lol
THIS - in reference to the bolded sentence.

I don't think they make it out of the 1st round.

Depends on the matchup.

I think they have a legit chance to beat any team in the West, sans Houston and Golden State.

They may not be favored against all of them. But, it wouldn't surprise me if they beat the Thunder, Pelicans, Denver, Portland, Minny....

I can see them having some problems with the Jazz.

"LeBron won't come to the Lakers IF they don't another superstar to go with him"

"IF LeBron goes to LA, Magic will trade every player on the roster to please him and get another star"

I wonder who said that?

As currently constructed I don't see them getting past NO or Thunder should they meet up. GS & Hou goes without saying IMO. But, if they manage to get at least one RELIABLE shooter then that could look very different in the post season against NO/OKC. Jazz I think will be too much also, given the fact that Gobert be manning that paint.

Would you really want Marcus Smart at a big price tag... (15+ million per season)?

Because that's what it would likely take for Boston not to match the offer sheet.

What else are the Kings gonna use the cap space on for this year and next? Chances of getting one or two top FA's will be at about 0% and Vlade doesn't seem to get how to use it to gain assets like the Nets did. Getting a tough defender like Smart who could play some 3 being able to defend SF's will help add toughness to the team. They'll need good role players around if one or two of their young players turn into all stars/superstars and get them back to the playoffs, and Smart is a good role player who's only 24 years old.
