Guess what dumbass we lost the first game 3 - 2 and Mauer had zero hits, you don't think a big hit could have changed that game and maybe the series? We lost game two 5 - 2 Cuddy and Morneau went deep, you don't think if Mauer has a 3-4 game that might have changed the outcome?

Nope “dumbass”

I think Torii forgetting how to play his patented gold glove D at the most crucial time was far more a result of losing a game.

Lol it’s on Mauer to bat .750?? You really can’t fix stupid.

Keep in mind @Win TWINS!!! this is the same guy who reverses his claims with Dan Marino. Brady’s wins don’t matter to Nos.

Hunter made zero errors in the series. Zero is a fun number as that's the same number of extra base hits, runs and RBI Mauer had in the series. But yeah nothing is ever Mauer's fault, all hail the 6'5 225 pound $200 million dollar slap hitter!

Did I say it was up to him to hit .750 or did I simply suggest a 3 hit game could have changed the results in game two? He did have 16 3+ hit games during the 2006 regular season right? Great players when given the chance put the team on their back and carry them to victory at some point in their career, but not Mauer but if you need a big hit in September against the White Sox when you are 30 games out of first Joe is your guy!!

I never said his wins didn't matter but of course you have to make it up as you go. I also never said Marino was a better winner than Brady. Obviously you believe Championships determine greatness, I guess that makes Yogi the greatest baseball player of all time! I said he was a better quarterback which he is, but I stopped expecting you to understand that a long time ago, as you are nothing more than a pompous windbag.

Yup Mauers fault.

So Marino is like Mauer. Couldn’t win big games. Great player tho.

Got it

That was game two, he dove for a ball and missed and wasn't even charged with an error, we certainly didn't lose the entire series because of that.

Marino did win at least 1 playoff game in his life...

You are the only one that used the word error lmao.

But yeah you’re right, torri misplaying a ball leading directly to two runs is less than Mauer 1 guy of 9 not having a hit.

I know you don’t believe the shit you say, but please stop. It’s getting obnoxious.

Whats more likely to cause a team to lose 3 games? A guy missing a ball that leads to two runs in game two or the 2006 AL batting champ doing nothing with the bat in all three games? This one is kinda tricky so you might wanna take off your shoes and socks.

The other 2006 award winners on that team all contributed in that series, Morneau hit .417 with 2 HR's. Johan 8 innings 2 runs 8K's

Mauer is also not just 1 of 9 he is the batting champ in the AL that year and some would have you believe a future hall of famer but yeah he should be held to the same standards as Nick Punto (who again has as many hits in the series as Joe) okay...

Umm... the guy who directly have the other team 2 runs obviously hurt more.

Like this isn’t even something arguable lol. Not everyone is going to go 3/4 in a game lmao.

Btw..rookie of the year winner Liriano didn’t pitch.

Who cares, you said he was more responsible for losing the series because of that missed play which is obviously fucking stupid.
