I hear the Huskers had the best Monday practice ever since last Monday.

it's a constant improvement thing and i think the results are starting to come out on the field. they looked better against Purdue, then Wiscy, and then NW. they need to eliminate mistakes, find a pass rush, and cover better. 2 of those 3 i think they can do now, the pass rush right now seems like it will have to come through recruiting, some better timed blitzs would help but pretty much all from last Saturday were just too slow developing or didn't actually do anything.

They are still learning Chinander's system, it takes time and reps to understand schemes, techniques, hell lining up properly. I can bet Nebraska's front seven hasn't line up right at least a third of the time this year. I've seen things improve but I believe these players will understand things a whole lot more after one season and another spring ball season.

Game was disappointing from my viewpoint but had fun time. Husker fans got very quiet and nervous at 28-22, but our horrific defense continued.

2nd trip to Nebraska. I'll be back
