It wasn’t 20 feet and it doesn’t matter. The rule clearly states the runner has to slide and get out of the way which he didn’t. He ducked and was moving into the path of the Arkansas player. The Beavers lost because they walked and hit 4 players and had fielding error in the 5th. Can’t blame anyone but your players for that

He didn't slide and continued directly toward the fielder. They
put in that rule as a safety net, against the unwritten rule of
baseball. If you are turning a double play and the incoming runner
isn't sliding you put the ball right between his eyes. (He'll slide
next time).

Either get on the ground or get out of the way...anything else is
interference.
