I know how y'all are in Boston but the rest of the country had a war about that 150 years ago and we don't allow it anymore.

BTW congrats

There was a war in 1868?

The Sox & Yankees are(most likely) going to meet again in a couple weeks and it really could go either way. The Sox figure to have the edge on paper since they have home field and will have Sale going in game 1. The Yankees figure to start Happ in the wildcard game, so he won’t be around until game 3 or 4. But these 2 teams just grind each other down. Hard to believe they haven’t met in the postseason since 2004. Get your popcorn ready.

Once again, this team's inability to play fundamental defense bites them square in the ass. Chad Green's decision to throw a change-up when Bradley clearly couldn't catch up with this fastball was mind-boggling. Can't blame Boone for that-but can definitely blame him for leaving Chapman in the way he did when he hadn't pitched in a month. He has no feel at all for his bullpen.

Bottom line-This is not a well coached team. At all.

What happened to all those "on this date in 1978 posts"?

You haven’t changed your tune on Boone all year. Yankees have had a great season, but I am always glad that Girardi isn’t in the other dugout.

Also, I haven’t seen much of Gleyber Torres, but I’ve seen him make about 20 mental errors or mistakes in the field during that time. Am I just catching him at the wrong times? Dude always looks like he just woke up from a nap.
