Yeah I hear you but the criteria for MVP never been to look at a team record without their best player. It is pretty clear how the NBA votes on MVP if you pay any attention to the league.

Unless Lebron gets the Lakers to a top 4 seed, he won't even finish top 3 in the voting.

The MVP is likely going to Harden, Giannis, or Steph/Kawhi IMO

Sounds about right. I know one of Steph's MVPs shoulda been LeBron's. And probably Derrick Rose's.

If you have a top 2 pick and Hawks offer you their 2 first round picks which are currently 5 and 10, would you take it?

Great question. Depends on which team has the 2nd pick. That is either Zion or Barrett. 5 and 10 get you 2 good players hopefully but not a can't miss like those guys. So I guess it depends on need. If some team gets lucky in the lottery and already has a Blake type (like the Pistons for example), maybe you do the trade.

Ball with a game-high 17 points....

19/8/6 now. The Bulls are easily the worst team in the league, but still credit where it's due. Nice game for the kid.

Warriors takeover 1st place in the Western Conference.

Nuck the Fuggets.

That is all.

:suds:

DENVER -- The Golden State Warriors set an NBA record with 51 first-quarter points during Tuesday night's 142-111 win against the Denver Nuggets.

On top of the league and franchise record for points in the first quarter, the Warriors also poured in 10 3-pointers -- another franchise record, according to ESPN Stats & Information.

"We had to get off to a good start against a team that's playing as well as Denver has in this building," Warriors guard Stephen Curry said. "Didn't expect, obviously, 51 [in the first quarter]. But the purpose about how we created shots and the confidence, everybody taking 'em, it was fun, man."

Golden State finished the quarter leading 51-38.

According to ESPN Stats & Information, the 51 points are the second most the Warriors have scored in any quarter in franchise history. They scored 57 points in the third quarter of a game against the Sacramento Kings in 1989.

That was probably my favorite game of this year, although the Klay 14 (?) threes game was close.

3 teams put up 140+ pts in their wins tonight...and all were in regulation.

Sixers (149) in Phllly over Minnesota
Hawks (142) in Atlanta over OKC
Dubs (142) on the road over Denver

Freedom of movement baby!

In this draft? No. Its top heavy. I don't really like much of anyone past the top 3 or 4.

No.

But, like @msgkings322 said depends on the team.

So far, I only see 3 guys with " Star " potential.

A team like the Magic, Suns don't need a Barrett type player.

They both have a roster full of wings.

But, you take Zion regardless, if you believe he can be a generational talent.

* I don't think he is *

Now, Ja Morant?

He has to be both teams wet dream.

If he keeps it up, we won't be on the board at pick #3, let alone 5.

But, the Bulls, Hawks might bite if they believe Bembry, Young, Dunn and Lavine are mainstays.

Gotta think both could use Zion though.

Cavs could use a guy at every position, outside Pg.

So, they could be a team looking to double up.

But, at pick #3.

They'd take Barrett or Zion if they had too 2.

...and Westbrook is the most celebrated Thunder player. Giannis is the most heralded young player in the game. Strange way to frame a criticism.

Kuzma has definitely been forcing 3s. He'll come back to form.

Yeah, and his overall FG % is pretty good.
