The facts are, they turned them into Lebron. Which is your real issue in all of this.
Nope. Not at all.

Did I want Lebron to stay? sure. But I saw a title I never thought I'd see. He has the right to go if he wants.

Only issue is the Cavs getting ripped to shreds for it while the media fanboys eat up anything Magic tells them and seem afraid to criticize him.

Added Lebron but let their best player at the time walk....and didn't need to.

How's this for a Lebron conspiracy theory?

Lebron strained his hip on Christmas. He hasn't played since, despite pretty much being listed as "day to day".

There has been speculation that Lebron actually could play and there was even thought that he could have been coming back for about 3 games now (counting today's game). But he's still not playing.

The kids have started to play pretty well. Lonzo was looking better before he hurt his ankle, Kuz has looked like the best of the bunch, Ingram has started looking a lot better and so has Zubac.

The Pels don't want to look like they just caved in to the Lakers.

Rich Paul probably went to the Pels and said..."AD isn't coming back, he wants to go to the Lakers. You can't look like you just caved to his demands, so you're going to need to play hard to get. So, we'll announce that he's not coming back. You guys act like you're not gonna deal with us. We'll keep Lebron out so the kids can show their stuff and raise their value. Then we'll make an offer that can be "revisited" closer to the deadline. Then, at the deadline, we'll do the deal and Lebron comes back the next game".

As I said in the other thread....

How big mad is everyone gonna be when DeAndre Jordan and Wes Matthews take buy-outs and go to the Warriors?

why would they take buyouts when the Knicks can trade them?

Yo uare telling me a team wouldnt give up some kind of asset to have DeAndre Jordan and his expiring contract for the rest of the season?

Zinger's recovery. Try and keep up...
My bad, I thought you quoted a different post. But let's not act like you've been the sharpest tool in the shed today.

Because he got butthurt they didn't trade for him.

Prima donna athletes.....
Fair point but if he wanted to be there he'd have gotten over it. You think he was more butthurt he wasn't traded for than Lebron about The Letter?

The Joker got his 8th trip-dub last night (only Russ has more) & helped the Nuggets to their best 50 game start (35-15) in team history.

They got him for DSJ.

NO PICKS.

Jordan and Matthews are free agents.

Capspace and DSJ for the Unicorn.

Wow...

Doesn't sound like much at all but if DSJ develops.....it won't look as bad in a few years......but right now.....Dallas raped them.

Agree. There's still a bit of an old school part of me that thinks players should honor their contracts before trying to leave,

But, as long as teams are able to trade away players under contract when they don't want them anymore, I find it hard to get too upset when players try to leave when they don't want to be there anymore.
I would 100% agree if not for the guaranteed contracts they receive. I doubt guys like Hayward, Porter, etc are going to offer to give back $$.

But if they trade them, and they take on salary, they sacrifice cap space. It seems their goal is entirely evident that they want to clear as much cap space as possible to make a run at free agents. Trading Jordan or Matthews seems counter productive if they're not also receiving the same amount of expirings back, no?

This.

The Knicks are gonna be chasing FA's in the summer.
