Years ago, when I coached high school basketball, I used to tell my players...It's not about who starts the game, it's about who finishes.
Yup.
Beverley and trash ass Avery Bradley start for the Clippers.
You'd have a better chance of seeing Tupac and Elvis at Old Country Buffet over seeing Avery on the court at the end of games.
Lou.
He's a closer on offense.
Kcp can defend.
Hart can fill both rolls.
has bradleys stock really fallen so much?Yup.

The question is, how on board with that is Kyrie? He already sulked his way out of one team for the same reason, what's to stop him from doing it a second time? They do look bad.
In fairness, guys have to find their roles.
They are integrating 2 guys who are used to being the #1 and #2 options, Hayward and Kyrie.
As soon as the Celtics come to terms with the fact that Tatum is their best player, not Kyrie, they will be fine.
Highest scoring doesn't = BEST.
I love me some Donovan Mitchell.
But, Gobert is their best player....for now.

/I really, really think the Celtics screwed up in not getting Kawhi, and I think the reason they didn't was because they were afraid of pissing off Kyrie, which is ridiculous.
Wiggy, he is soooooo bad.has bradleys stock really fallen so much?
Nice to have choices. When the Warriors are fully healthy, I really don't have any idea who will be out there at the end of games. Do you go bigger and have more firepower and rebounding with Cousins. Or do you go smaller, more versatile and better defensively with Andre?
Btw, Damian Jones has been a monster in the first few games. Doing exactly what he needs to do, put backs and easy dump off finishes, rebound and block shots. I can see him being next years starter, should Boogie leave as well. He's basically what everyone thought Javale was in his younger years without the Shaq'tin moments.
LeFraud showing that Clutchness last night.
Waste of money. You could have got Anthony Davis and another SuperStar for LeFrauds Salary
i dunno if you ever answeredm e, -I totally see your point.
But, I think the Celtics are waiting on Davis to become available.
Plus, could you imagine if they gave up assets for Kawhi and he bounced to go to the Lakers in the Summer?
If the Celtics are trying to pacify Kyrie, they'd probably go after Butler.
I wouldn't. I'd rather have a healthy Hayward over Jimmy for 40 mil.
Yeah, Kyrie wants to be the leader.
He can be that.
It isn't a stretch to think he will lead the team in scoring.
But, Tatum is, or will be very shortly, the best player on that Team.
If Kyrie can't live with that, let him go to the Knicks and lose.
The Celtics have Rozier waiting I the wings.
He's not nearly as dynamic as Kyrie.
He also isn't as fragile either.
Why would it matter? If they get a banner out of it who gives a rats ass where he goes after? He wants to go to the Lakers and be second fiddle to Lebron, have at it.Plus, could you imagine if they gave up assets for Kawhi and he bounced to go to the Lakers in the Summer?
the Pelicans look really good anyway. Why would it matter? If they get a banner out of it who gives a rats ass where he goes after? He wants to go to the Lakers and be second fiddle to Lebron, have at it.
And while I love Davis neither the Celtics nor anybody else has any idea what he's planning to do, the Pels aren't trading him (yet, at least) and they might be down Kyrie by the time he's available anyway. Why not just go all in on the superstar who is available now and take a run?
/And you're right about Rozier, I just think they could've been contenders both now and later.
Oh, I agree that Davis is wishful thinking. Why would it matter? If they get a banner out of it who gives a rats ass where he goes after? He wants to go to the Lakers and be second fiddle to Lebron, have at it.

From the Celtics, slightly more than Smart.i dunno if you ever answeredm e, -
how much do you think Rozier gets in FA?
its funny- those were the exact teams i thought were the best opportunities- Suns, Bucks, Magic, MAYBE Knicks. From the Celtics, slightly more than Smart.
From the Suns, Bucks, Magic...maaaaaaybe Knicks if they miss on everyone else...
The Max or close to it.
Even more plausible is they all take a discount to stay together.See, I'm operating on the belief that Durant would be out of his rabbit ass mind to leave.
So, if you have Durant, Curry and Klay at the Max, I'm not paying Draymond.
Unless you think Klay is out?
