Yeah those three look like huge busts. Which sucks as a Sixers fan because there were a lot of good players that came from this draft. Tatum, Fox, Markkanen, Mitchell, and even later round guys like Collins, Allen and Kuzma.
Fultz looks like a bust.

The other two look like they were picked to high.

As for Mitchell, nobody saw him coming.

Nobody.

this is his 3rd year right?

he has 4 years and is than an RFA at the end of 4 years.

You dont get 5 years before restricted free agency

unless I am totally mistaken but i am almost positive its 4 years, and then you are an RFA.

Re-read the post you quoted

Let me know when Sexton records a triple-double or gets 10 assists in a game.

LMAO.

A triple-double is pretty overrated when you aren't efficient from the field but you rack up assists bc you have the ball in your hands the entire game...ask RW

This is such a shitty excuse for Lonzo's poor ft shooting. Small sample size my ass. These guys are on a practice court basically every time they don't have a game. If you put in the necessary work on the practice court during off days then his ft shooting wouldn't be so bad for 2 straight years now.
Lmfao

He has a small sample size, because like Simmons, he is terrified to shoot the ball.

He hot potatoes the Shit out of the ball to avoid going to the charity stripe.

I am a fan of this kid.

It's not his fault people pumped him up and now he has unrealistic expectations heaped upon him.

But, the fact remains, he is a bad shooter from the field and the charity stripe and usually has ZERO confidence in either area.

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

Should he do what Westbrook did last night?

Hell no.

But, with no LeBron, no Kuzma, he should have been way more assertive.

every since they traded for Delly it seems like Sexont has been struggling. His %'s have gone down a good amount, he needs to just get refocused. He is still shooting 37% from 3 and 87% from the FT line.

With this GREAT 4 game stretch by Ball he is still shooting an amazing 31% from 3 and 45% from the FT line...45%. That is hard to type out bc it is so mind-boggling.

I remember people blowing their wads over Lonzo being the youngest ever to record a triple double.

Well, Markelle Fultz now holds that distinction.

Yeah....lol

Yeah.....RW sucks.....

:pound:

Did I say that he sucks? I mean let me know when RW ever wins a title. Great player-but he can score the ball WAY better than Ball--- no comparison there. He is not very efficient though, he's always been that way but Lonzo is like dangerously low efficency wise and he can't shoot FT's.

Dude shooting #'s is terrible across the board.

31% from 3, 40% from the field, & 45% from the line. All below avg for his position.

Yeah happy for Lonzo, he is getting triple-doubles but he can't make a FT? It seems like when your FG percentages are that low all the way across the board all he is doing is passing or practicing layups in practice.

He never said that.

I really don't care about these Jason Kidd type triple doubles where you're barely scoring double digit points and in addition to that, Russ been shooting poorly in a lot of these triple doubles

They aren't even comparable.

Westbrook is a high volume shooter, with a low % rate.

Lonzo is a low volume shooter, with a low % rate.

Westbrook has high assists.

But, I think Ball has better court vision.

Boards are close.

But, Wesbrook.

Defense could be a wash.

But, scoring?

Go back the last 4 drafts and tell me who they should have taken.

Try not to use hindsight.

The only guy that I can honestly say I thought they chose wrong was Lonzo over Fox.

They shouldn't have let Randle go either if he signed for what they gave Rondo.

There is a chance that Josh Hart might be the Lakers best pick from the previous four drafts.

4 shots just can't happen, especially if you want to improve. I mean I didn't watch the game but I bet he had chances to shoot the ball and passed it instead...which is great if there is an open man that has a higher percentage shot but cmon man.

Agree.

So far, Kuzma holds that position.

But, Hart has the potential to be a good two way player.

Kuz is only good on one side of the ball.

Agree.

Your top 2 scorers are out, you have to step it up.

Lonzo is so terrified to be the reason they lose, that he refuses to try to be the reason they win.

Also players do different things. Triple-double isn't a requirement to be a good PG. Lonzo get some triple-doubles here and there but he still isn't a good player.

I've seen very little improvement from him this season. His numbers are almost identical to last season

The weird thing is he just came off 3 straight games where he took 13+ shots in each game so you come out last night and attempt 4 shots in 35 minutes? Doesn't make sense

Yeah, can't even call it a Sophomore slump.

He and Josh Jackson haven't regressed.

They just haven't improved.
