I agree....that trade and the Wall to SA trade blew my mind.
Also Shumpert has been big for this team with defense, shooting, and chemistry. As crazy as it sounds I don't think they should trade him, it might be best to ride it out this season with the guys they have who like playing together and in the offseason decide if a trade makes sense.I like the idea of the Kings taking a shot. But I'm not sure that Wiggins is the right guy to take that shot with.

If they're trading for Anthony Davis, of course. For Otto Porter or Wiggins and their big contracts? I wouldn't be so sure. Plus I think both would still be available for trade in the offseason if the Kings don't strike gold in FA. How many all star difference makers are gonna be available that the Kings could or should trade for?Well I disagree with that. If you could make a trade for a guy who could be a real difference maker, you dump Shumpert in a hot second.

I'm not a fan of Wiggins, maybe a change of scenery will make him become the player people thought he could be pre draft but it's not a risk the Kings should take imo. I would much rather have Otto Porter, might be overpaid but I like him more as a 3 and D wing. And I'd still prefer not trade Shumpert for Porter, he's not untouchable in trades but he's brought a lot of value to this young team.Honestly, why do you care about the contract? The Kings aren't bringing in any max contract guys in the foreseeable future. They have tons of cap space. I think they are past the stage of tankapalooza. So now it's about acquiring talent. If the free agent market is unlikely to get you anything, then bringing in overpaid but talented players is not a terrible plan.
I still think he is most likely to be the best playeri n the league next year in his age 35 season, which by in and of itself is unprecedented territory, but after that, its really hard/damn near impossible to give a 36 year old the benefit of the doubt as the best playeri n the league.
Great deal for the Nets.

Slightly more than Exum, slightly less than Clarkson and he's better than both.
Dinwiddie isn't a starter either.How dare you!
I'm surprised at how Dinwiddie has improved his shooting. He is a pretty high volume 3 point shooter at 37% this year and he is very efficient in general. Clarkson is coming off the bench though. His per 36 numbers are pretty freaking good. 23.4 ppg 4.8 rpg 2.9 apg. A high volume shooter but both are playing great this year.
