I still don't think they'll make the playoffs, they are currently 8th but at least 3 or 4 teams outside the top 8 could make it with the Rockets almost a lock to get in. The only team I'd really not want them to face in the playoffs this season is the Lakers but I'd take that series over the Kings not making it.You think the Kings will be the #7 seed?
You think the Warriors are gonna get the 2nd seed? You think the Kings will be the #7 seed?

Wait...I thought this was a joke.
I think it would be a good test for the Kings win or lose, it's more because to me the Lakers are the most frustrating team to see them lose to. I'd still get excited to see these young Kings renew that playoff rivalry(preferably with a different result). If the Kings want to win a championship they will HAVE to go through the Lakers at some point. Why wouldn't you want to face the Lakers? I think that would be a good series TBH
Johhny Flynn er.... Colin Sexton has bounced back nicely,
huh @tlance ? lol
ill tell ya what- I wouldnt give up Sexton for anything on the Wiz roster.
Down 5 at the end of the 3rd... in Dallas... they might.
Dallas isn't terrible this season.
I'm watching ND/USC tonight, tho...
"I think there is also a fairly decent chance Sexton becomes a Johnny Flynn level bust." : @tlanceHe is doing well.
Unlike you, I never said he wouldn't. Just said he had bust POTENTIAL and a lot to learn.
It isn't like I said I would fly to mars if Sexton developed into a good player. Pretty sure I said he had a lot of upside too.
How is Wendell Carter Jr. Doing? What about JaVale McGee?
I haven't been paying attention.

Sexton is 19 and a month into his pro career.
Sexton had 29 last night. Flynn had 29 once in his career. Flynn scored 20 or more points less than 10 times in his career. Sexton has done it 4 times already.
In my mind, the most impressive thing Sexton is doing is shooting at almost a 47% clip from the field, and, albeit in a small sample size, 48% from 3 (which will undoubtedly drop). A 19 year old guard showing that efficiency so early in his career is extremely encouraging. It shows the game is not too big for him and that he has the necessary skills. For comparisons sake, last years #1 and #2 drafted point guards- Ball and Fultz, finished at 36% and 40.5% respectively. If Sexton finishes at or around 44% or higher it would be a GREAT rookie season
throw any Flynn comparison out the fucking window, into the garbage, wherever except any basis in reality.

I am not giving up on Sexton by any stretch.
But, he had some serious flaws coming out of college and they are showing. Maybe he is able to develop his skills to the point where he can become a Kemba Walker or McCollum type player. But, he is a scoring guard and does not appear to have the mindset of a play maker. Trying to make him one could actually end up stunting some of his best attributes.
