Yes. They are targeting her. The word "seriously" in my post means that this is not a joke. The Browns are actually interested in a 64 year old woman who has never never even played a competitive team sport or coached at any level.

Only the Browns would think this is a good idea.

Right.

There is no reason to think a female basketball player or coach could not be successful coaching men. All that would be needed is open minded players.

Hell, I am sure there are women out there who would make quality NFL coaches. But they would need to work their way up through the ranks first.

Merely being brilliant isn't enough without the necessary coaching resume. Heck, even most of the former NBA players hired directly to a head job without prior coaching/front office experience have struggled mightily.

I'm seriously over basketball season already.

The only possible way for this team to do anything productive this season was to stay somewhat healthy. 16 games and they can't healthy and you have another player entering his 2nd week of a personal leave.

Disgraceful

I haven't been as excited about a regular season game not involving my team ever. That game Will be awesome.

Chiefs/Saints Super Bowl would be ridiculously fun too.
