if there is such a thing as a "big" November game- tonights game between the Blazers and Lakers is a fairly big game.

If the Blazers win they will end up with the tie-breaker vs. the Lakers- a team they will be fighting with for a playoff spot/position.

If the Lakers win they beat one of the few good teams they play over a fairly easy stretch of games and can really put together a nice streak.

I wouldn't necessarily call it a "big game", but considering the Lakers are looking to make the playoffs, all the new faces and the fact that they can't dig themselves too big of a hole because of how tough the West is...it's definitely bigger than the 14th game of the year would be in a normal season.

Especially when you consider that, at least right now, there's a team or 2 that are playing better than expected.

I think Kawhi will really have to be blown away to leave Toronto considering they are going to be very good, have a lot of good young talent and can pay him by far the most.

Klay is not going anywhere- no way the Warriors let him get out of town---- itll be Durant who will want to find success on his own terms- I am guessing somewhere in the East.

And lets say Durant goes East and Kawhi stays in Toronto....

The East will be better than the West at that point.

100% Draymond was overall in the wrong, but dude is gonna say what's on his mind all the time. And after this I can really empathize with him. KD's been coddled by the organization and catering to him, when the Warriors were already established before him. It's kind of a weird situation.

Stack had run his course. He went out at the appropriate time. Unfortunately for AI, his speed was starting to diminish and with his lack of explosiveness he became more of a liability, especially on defense. He could have held on a few more years if he had slightly changed his game, but after being a superstar who could do so much it's really hard to do so. Which makes what Vince Carter does all the more impressive, IMO.

Melo just happened to be born in an era where his game didn't translate. If he played in the 80's or early 90's, we might be talking about him as one of the greatest to ever play in the NBA. That's where his game would have been the most appreciated.
