did you guys know the Wizards ahve the longest streak in the NBA without having a 50 win season?
If they do not do something this season i think its time to blow that whole team/front office up. Just start from scratch and trade everything not nailed down for assets/pieces parts. John Wall is extremely talented but he just doesnt look like a winner. Much more of a "whiner" than a "winner".

Westbrook likely out for opening night. Adams questionable.
That sucks.
solid deal if you ask me. Some risk for Indiana since its a 4 year deal, but there could be some nice value there down the line. At the very worst they will be overpaying 6-7 million a year down the line I would think. At the best they got a 30M dollar player for 20M.

Larry Nance has reached a four-year, $45 million extension with Cleveland, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.
solid deal for the Cavs. They needed to offer him a bit more than the mid level to wrap him up is what it came down to --- the midlevel is just about 9 now ( i think 8.7).
very fair deal for both sides if you ask me.
Agreed but it's probably because they aren't usually totally awful. They are meh, sometimes they make the playoffs, etc. They aren't the Kings or Magic where they are totally terrible always. Is any other team even close to their record? 40 years without a 50 win season is kinda amazing.
The Wizards are quietly one of the most inept pro sports team out there and have been for a long time.

I saw turner was 4 /72 but with incentive can go to 4/80.....that makes it even a lil bit better.Think this will be a big turning point for Turner. He's still only 22, but he tapered off a bit some last year. The problem for me with him is that his rebounding is subpar. Think he needs to work on that aspect of his game and he should definitely be getting more being 6'11". I think he got a solid market value deal, but a lot of that is based on upside. So we will definitely have to see.
I like Nance and think that if they NEED to move that contract they really shouldnt have too much problem doing so. Plus- he is a fan favorite (his dad being Larry Nance Sr. obviously). He is without a doubt one of those "modern" bigs that is quick enough to guard the 4 or 5 and can play against some guards on the perimeter on switches. If he stays as is- its not bad- but if he develops a shot itll be some nice value.Aren't you a bit concerned about your cap space for next season and going forward? Looks like JR and Hill are both small partial guarantees. From what I calculated, without Nance's extension, you'd be looking at upwards of 29M in cap space. Now that comes down pretty significantly to around 18.
The problem I have with Nance, is that I don't believe there's any real upside there. He'll be 26 this year, a full year older than Anthony Davis.
plus, i think if anything, the CAvs will be more active in the trade market using Hill and JR's partial guarantees more so than FA.Aren't you a bit concerned about your cap space for next season and going forward?
