I mean....

Dude was hot, even in the Hood, for a year or two.

I had his first album.
He was riding a wave of popularity at that time as was MC Hammer.

Toledo really should be part of Michigan but us real Ohioans kicked some ass & took the city from them. Plus the Rockets colors are just like the wolvereeeens, fuck them!:heh:

That hurts man. Right in the feels lol

@Shanemansj13

You okay after the Zion scare?

I feel a little better about him returning to play after hearing about his insurance policy.

If he goes 16th, or later, in the draft, he gets 8 mil from a insurance policy paid for by Duke.
I think he plays if healthy. BBall nothing like football, where guys have sat out bowl games (or rest of season with injuries).

Plus, the tourney a lot more exciting I would think than a meaningless bowl game.

He gets 8 mil if it all goes wrong.

So, I agree.

Do they still have record players?

I still have a record player. And yes, I still have alotta old vinyl albums I listen to from time to time.

Speaking of albums I was @ Target last weekend. They had a copy of Axis Bold As Love (Jimi). It was $25. That's alotta loot for an album.

Ugh....yeah, if you use the entire Cleveland Sports Scene.

Just the Cavs?

Clippers are the biggest dumpster fire in Sports.

Inept is 2 floors higher.

It is definitely a top five all time worst franchise probably. Not to be mean but man were the 80s and 90s bad

(As you're obviously painfully aware)

My Tigers from 88-05 were about my closest experience to that other than the Browns (who if we consider the new Browns separately are the unquestioned leader of horribleness)

Yep.

Both those guys lyrics were trash.

But, they were awesome performers.

Ice could get his boogie on too.

Vanilla Ice kickin' it wit da Turtles.

I bought my Mom a record player in like 2002.

It was one of those old school wooden ones.

She still has it.

We have a faux juke box in our basement.

It doesn't actually play records.

It only works with mp3's.

Clippers for sure are up there for an individual team of ineptness. Before the Cavs title in 2016 they had none, Tribe goes back to 1948 and Browns 1964. Actually told someone after the last Cavs' season I thought the Browns had the best shot here to win a title of the 3.

what's funny is most consider NY to be pretty successful with their sports, but I know guys from college who are fans of the Mets, Jets and Knicks. If you aren't old enough to remember the Mets title, you've had it pretty rough. Even if you are my age, all you've really seen is that Met title and very little else.

Giants and Yanks another story, of course.

20-something years ago my oldest sister gave me her broken record player. Don't remeber the name off hand but it's from the mid 70's. All it needed was a new arm & I replaced the speakers. Works just fine to this day.

Giants, Yanks, and Devils have all be very successful. Mets, Jets, Knicks, Rangers not so much.

@Mecca

it really bums me out

but im like 99.9% sure that Daenerys dies in Season 8.

Jon Snow is going to be the one that kills her - in order to basically super charge his sword to kill the Night King.

like 99% sure this is how it goes.

He tried rapping? Oh please say it ain't so. I can't even imagine how awful that was.
He was actually one of the more successful basketball rappers. Others that have tried include Kobe, Iverson, and yes Tony Parker
