We obviously need defense but I would also happily part with a first and change for any of Pannarin, Nylander, Stone, Duchene etc.

You may have too...

Our defense will continue to blow with the likes of Greene and Lovejoy, maybe Vat to a degree getting big minutes against top attacks. It's no fault of their own but we don't have anyone more reliable for the shutdown purposes.

I was thinking back, how our defense was back in that 2012 run.

Shockingly Vatanen has not been on the ice often when the other team scores despite all of his time on ice.

Theres Vatanen then a Grand Canyon size drop off to the next tier.

Last night was bad...

The start of our new season is anything but we expected other than going 4-0.... Something is not right. Not blaming Hall for this, he'll get it back going, we know this. Nico needs to start making more of a difference.

Not sure we're being used in the best way.

Defense sucks and the defensive staff needs to be erased.
