Could very well be a 90 loss season with the SP as is but I will still probably watch 160+ games and cheer the Rangers on every single one of them
I'll watch as many as I can. Good or bad, I still watch.

If I am not mistaken, Ephland means actually attending the Opening Day game.

I guess this is the 47th season so this should be our 47th as fans.

I have probably attended about 30 something Opening Days. I pretty much gave up going when they started that lottery system to buy OD tickets.

Veteran of Dollar bleacher club back in high school dating me in 70s. Went to KC thinking 76 to watch series that almost got us first pennant but we blew it

Is Odor really hitting .193 for the spring?

I don’t normally take stock in spring performance, but when you just had a terrible year, I think it’s important to show something positive in the spring.

I hope profar is breathing down odors neck and ready to step in.

I’d give Odor a short leash and be ready to make the switch.

I don’t care that Odor slugged Bautista, dumps Gatorade on the player of the game, received ponies from the owners, Just signed a contract, and fits into the clubhouse very well.

It’s about results on the field damnit and I’m not seeing them.

Thought Odor just hit 2 HRS in the last few games but perhaps no big deal
Since it is Spring TRAINING

Just in time for you Crawler. Mitchwhipped.

Your curses may be the solution to Odor finding some success

I was being serious. Odor could be a problem for this team if he both can’t produce and rooster doesn’t have the balls to replace him.

Enjoy your meaningless preseason game.

Since latest posts were about Odor this from RotoWire:

Odor went 11-for-57 (.193 average) with 17 strikeouts and five walks during 20 appearances in the Cactus League.

The ugly numbers aren't a reassuring sign after Odor hit just .204/.252/.397 across 651 plate appearances in 2017, netting him a 61 wRC+ that made him the worst qualified hitter in baseball. Odor was far better from a fantasy standpoint thanks to his 30 home runs and 15 stolen bases, but it's worth wondering if he'll face a shorter leash on an everyday role this season if he fails to make notable progress with his batting line. Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that manager Jeff Banister recently dismissed the notion of anyone other than Odor seeing regular time at the keystone this season, so at least for the time being, Jurickson Profar shouldn't be viewed as an immediate threat to Odor's full-time gig.

Figures..... I’m not a fan of the rooster. The “ never ever quit guys” thing is a nice feel good story, but I think he lacks the balls and baseball acumen to be a winner.

They must not have seen their starting rotation
Speaking of that I saw that Matt Moore is starting the 3rd game of the season. He has been awful for a while now. Will wait and see how he does and hope a miracle happens and he becomes a good pitcher again but doubt it.

Yeah, but will this be the case this year? lol Holland > Cashner???

Derek seems to have never fully recovered from that behind the shoulder injury. I remember reading that those are sometimes career threatening. That was a dark day for this team when both he and Ryan Rua got hurt on the same day on Opening Day of 2015. Combined, those injuries along with the Profar injury and the Hamels and Lucroy trades have made a drastic difference in where this team is today compared with where we could have been. Oh well.

The Rangers need to sign Greg Holland on a one year deal so they can trade him at the deadline and get back prospects who can help us long term.
