Used to be that Spring Training was for players to try out new things, experiment and tweak while score did not matter. Yes winning spring training is a joke. Real issue is our guys able to perform if adjustments are made. No time to give up on Odor just yet. Obviously he is aware he has to make changes. Thus his approach

Speaking of deals going south... scouts are not exactly singing the praises of Ohtani. I'll admit I was pulling for the Rangers to land him, but it's looking like they might be better off having not.

I don't think he'll be a two way player, but he could be a heck of a pitcher

Colon didn't look bad. 4 innings, 1 run. Goeddel looked terrible. Odor looks the same as he did last year.

Most of the guys did not play long so I can't say I saw much to talk about in the positive. Odor was a disappointment but it was only one game.

His entire spring has been pretty disappointing.

The veterans like Beltre or Elvis get the benefit of the doubt in regard to spring training performances.

However, If you had a terrible year the previous season, it’s important to show something in the spring I think.

I really hope the rangers have a short leash on Odor and have profar waiting in the wings ready to go.
