Harvick still leads and Boyer has quietly worked his way to sixth place. This is a long race. Maybe we will see a second straight win by Stewart-Haas.

Harvick takes the first two stages and there are a lot of drivers caught speeding on pit road today. Tire issues abound because of those BS Goodyear tires. Another reason this series is dying. No product competition. Just a standardized series with corporate money that leads to boredom and quick induced snoozing.

Harvick has now lead the most laps in 7 of the last 8 Atlanta races, with zero wins to show for it.

Yep jeffro, Harvick has become the Michael Andretti of Atlanta. When Michael was a driver, he led like 430 laps at Indy without a win. Something would always happen at the end of the race. This time, Harvick just wigged himself out and could have easily won just by staying calm and continue to do the things that got him there.

Mario would be the better Andretti comparison. Happy has won at Atlanta, Michael never won Indy.

Smh, Nascar just replaced the 2018 New Hampshire chase race with a 2nd race at Las Vegas.

Fans : "we want more unique tracks and less 1.5 mile tracks.
Nascar: "ok, here's another 1.5 mile track".

What they really need to do is to yank one of those cookie cutters out of the chase and put in a road course. Maybe Road America in the summer and Infineon in the Chase?
