Coach Mitch is known to be a straight to the point, no sugarcoating kind of guy. His comments about McCullers are either damning or he's trying one last time to light a fire under this guy.

Apparently, or at least according to some fans, they had interest in Treyvon Hester late in the draft, but OAK got him...if he gets released that would be a name to watch.

Can't find the link but I know I read somewhere about McCullers losing some weight this offseason and switching up his workout regimen in hopes of increasing his stamina & burst. Would love to see that mountain of a man make a difference. Seems like this will be the last year for the Shade Tree to prove it.

I've seen it...I can't say I knew this with much detail, but I did know about it just thru knowing some hardcore Vol fans. This has dogged McCullers since his college days...he was always thought to be this monster of a man, but it never showed up on the field.

So...maybe he does turn it around, but my guess is IF he makes the team, they will get what they can out of him (since they did not draft any depth behind Hargrave) this season and try another body next year.
