Almost missed this story... Did you see this @ATL96Steeler ? We talked about his release back in Feb/March, but hearing this now makes me not as upset about his release. Obviously the coaches & Colbert had wind of this long before the league passed judgement.

Uncanny...it never made sense for a CB starved team to release this guy...now of course it does. A lot of things thise FO does comes into focus 2-3 months later.

Report: Le’Veon Bell present at Steelers facility last week leading up to minicamp

Glad to hear it. Most likely getting his medical checkups, but still encouraging to see him in the building prior to mandatory minicamp. Still a real possibility of a holdout, but Art Rooney II & Colbert have already stated the team intends to get the deal done. I have confidence the new deal will get done in the next week or so.
