To me I keep the top 3 ...I get it Ware is long in tooth and his problems but if healthy yes I would .

I'm pretty sure that isn't right about brown. We signed him to a two year deal recently right?

I like Dekoda Watson and Vance Walker ... and I think Forsett did a great job, all things considered ..

( ... like Norwood too, but ... well, we all saw the games this season )

This defense needs Talib, and we can't go throwing money at someone like Ware who is going to be injured more than he is on the field ..

Ware had a great run here, but it is time to move forward

Here are the guys I would at least make an offer to...

1) Vance Walker—Still pretty young and should be able to fully recover from his injury. Before the injury he was viewed as a guy having one of the best camps of any player. Could be a huge boost to our run defense and won’t cost a ton.


2) Sly Williams—I would at least make an offer. I’m still drafting a player for the NT position even if we sign Sly but he has shown at times he can do a decent job anchoring on this defense.


3) Dekota Watson—Showed enough on special teams and being a good emergency piece to have for the defense.


4) Kayvon Webster—I doubt we can get him signed as some team will offer him an opportunity to start. His situation is just like Bruton’s from last year. Special Teams star who wants the opportunity to show they are more than that.


5) Billy Winn—I actually thought he was one of the better DL players we had this year. Still young so see what he can do.


And yes Marlon Brown is actually already under contract. So we can take him off the list.


Ware I’m torn. I love the leadership he brings to the team and he has shown he still has some flashes of brilliance in him. It would all depend on the type of price tag he is looking for.

Well everybody keeps talking about how Elway is planning on making one splash play in FA and that could definitely be it. He is a great fit for the system we run. He fills a huge hole left by Malik. So I could definitely see the Broncos having a lot of interest in Campbell.

I would say we could get 3 of the 4 realistically but all 4 would be very difficult with the cap. Campbell is the tough one. I'm having a hard time figuring out what he will get on the open market. On one hand maybe the best player at his position. On the other he just turned 30 so teams will be reluctant to give him anything beyond a 3-year type deal.

TJ Lang's price depends a bit on the rest of the OG market. Say Zeitler is available from the Bengals then I think it actually hurts both of them because teams will think "why overpay for this guy when we can just now go and bid on this other guy?"
