Yes, but if I go from hauling bricks to make my money to long distance travel by car, that truck I got ain't gonna do me no good anymore, and now I need to get something specific that is going to be comfortable enough with so much windshield time, if you get my drift.

Not only do we need to find what we need to fit our new schemes, we need to shed what we already have that doesn't fit our needs which in turn only creates more holes, specific holes to fill.

If we had that No. 5 pick this year, I'd be damned pissed if they didn't go Myles Garrett was still there and we went TE, but we didn't draft until Pick 37 and traded down to likely pick Sidney Jones, and went with plan b and took TE Everett.

Also I'll add, I'm gonna be pretty sore down the road if Zay Jones turns out to be an Alshon Jeffery's, or a Sammy Watkins, unless Everett turns out to be a perennial Pro Bowler!!!

Because we all know....

Watkins > Robinson
Jeffery > Quick

And they weren't even close then or now but we could have picked them both, instead of the busts.

The Zay Jones pick totally through out Alshon vibes to me man. We traded that pick to the Bears as you know... This was to the Bills

Kupp has similar size but not as much speed. Let's hope Kupp and Reynolds are better route runners and can cut to get open. Oh and catch too!!

One last thougt. I know most of you remember the shit show of last year and how our Oline sucked.

I guess this Oline is planning on doing a 180 because the FO has that weird confidence once again that they have the guys they need. But if we get going this year and it's the same ole shit, don't yell at me when I start hollarin about how it's Groundhog Day once again

That's Kupp's bread and butter. He tested extremely well in the short shuttle, which shows the ability to cut on a dime.

Not only did the 9ers have a good draft and be better this season, they loaded up on picks for next year with and extra 2nd and 3rd

Ishmael Adams, CB, UCLA
This guy could be the steal of the UDFA's.

He converted to WR from CB in his last year at UCLA, and could start as a ST punt & kickoff returner Week 1, he is that good. Adams is explosive as a returner, and could make an immediate impact.

Here he is vs Arizona St.

Check him out:
  • at the 0.40 mark.
  • at the 2:24 mark (Note the score, clock and field position. He turns the game around to close out the half)
  • at the 3:00 mark

To be fair, we did sign one of the best LT's in the NFL which means our greatest liability along the line is now a strength...

The guys drafted two years ago also badly slid last year after impressing as rookies. Getting them out of the Fisher "dumbrella" will hopefully bring back some of that promise.

He doesn't come without baggage though. Suspended for robbing an uber in 2015. Plays with an edge, but steps over the line at times.
