Melo would be taking a lesser role to win a chip, and he's LeBron's boy, he's one of the super friends.
LeBron/CP3/Melo/Wade are all great friends and have all wanted to play together.
Unless Melo gets bought out, he won't be a Laker. There's no point anyway; in your scenario with George and Lebron, where do Ingram and Melo fit? If Lebron is at the 4, is Melo on the bench? Just no reason to include him if Lebron is there.
