William's 2nd run... 4.69s. Get off didn't look as bad. Really thought this kid would be quicker than that.Tim Williams 40... 4.7s... Slow get off... Pretty disappointing.
Takk McKinley's 2nd run... 4.64s. Slower

Seems as though our original roster needs predictions are holding true judging by these interviews. Only position they haven't been aggressive with (yet) is OT. With Harris' recent retirement I'm sure that spurred them to interview FSU's Roderick Johnson. Or its a vote of confidence in Hubbard that not many people have been interviewed. We might start to see a few more as the weeks go by leading up to the draft. Hawkins, Mihalik & Feiler are in the fold, but all are unknowns. Will have to wait & see with Hubbard in FA since the Steelers only threw out a tendered offer or something like that. If Hubbard is brought back then I doubt they go after anyone in FA or the draft.Players Steelers have met or interviewed with to date...formal and informal per Steeler Depot.

The head count on TE tells me there are pretty serious about bring in a seam buster...thought there might be more RBs.

One who was interviewed...Shaq Griffin...ran 4.38...low time of the day so far.
Looks like a decent zone CB... Speed helps.
Side note. Whatever happened to that one UCF kid that we really liked as a later draft pick back a few years? I think his last name was Glenn? Came out of college early. Not even sure if he got drafted.
Found it... Back in our 2015 draft talks.... Jacoby GlennSpeed definitely helps if Butler is going to have him playing in off coverage....lol
Don't remember the UCF kid you mentioned.
There are some strong Awuzie fans among the Steeler Nation...he's supposed to have inside and outside skills. I'll be interested to see what Sutton runs.

2015 Draft
Apparently went undrafted to Chicago, got waived & signed to their PS. Then got promoted to active roster and started in nickel packages last year (got his 1st career INT on Stafford) until October when he was released and resigned back to their PS.
Thought the kid was loaded with talent. Hasn't quite materialized yet.
Would love it to see Colbert snipe that kid off their PS! lol. But I'd be happy to see someone like Awuzie get drafted!Good work! I remember the name now.
He's close, but not all the way there...when teams keep stashing on PS...that's typically what that means.

Looks like SteelersWire is predicting the loss of Cockrell.
Pittsburgh needs to prepare for the loss of Ross Cockrell
Yea the position is perilously thin right now. Gilbert gone. Gay on the way out & no longer an outside guy. The loss of Cockrell would sting. That would leave Shabazz as the only other capable CB. We don't know what they have in Golson yet.Interesting read...it definitely confirms what we've said...they think they can upgrade the position.
Given that they see the guy everyday in practice I guess I'm kinda rolling with the gamble, but there had better be a plan B if another team nabs him.

Yea I'm not sure what to make of that. After reading that I was contemplating it, but then you said they interviewed Griffin who is a zone-based CB. Conflicting reports! lolLike you've said...that's what's driving the Kirkpatrick interest...plan B...I did note that possible change to man as well.

Been reading up on the kid. Seems like a great athlete. Good nose for the ball. Doesn't have the strength or frame that JJ has, but he's a warrior. Didn't see his combine results. We haven't talked about this guy as a potential edge rusher @ 30 but we should.
NFL Events: Combine Player Profiles - T.J. Watt
The kid is athletic, (certainly more so than J. Jones), has the bloodlines with 2 brothers in the league, not a ton of experience on the edge, but good production in a solid conference.
TJ deserves consideration I think.
