Any who....Ron Gardenhire. Vikingsfan is bashing his managerial skills. No matter really. With the teams Detroit will put on the field the next two years, the managerial position is not critical. Detroit could of hired Charley Brown as manager, and I doubt the difference between his results and Gardenhire's would be minimal.

Tiger fans biggest worry isn't manager and coaches - it is Miggy Cabrera and his once trusty sidekick Victor Martinez. If Cabrera's back, knee, ankle, age have made him nothing more than a nondescript hitter with no speed and average defensive skills...the middle of Detroit's order is empty. Even if he returns to close to "normal", he needs protection in the order. I fear the days of VMart doing that are over. That leaves the job to strikeout prone Castellanos. 63 games will be my mantra
