The problem for Michigan is that they have lost to both Penn State and Michigan State. So if UM ties with either of them...they get the East Division title over UM. So UM basically has to win its last three games and PSU and MSU need to lose a game. Of course, the Wolverines beating Wisconsin AND OSU will be tough.

Who would have thought that the Spartans would be having just as good a season as the Wolverines? All of a sudden the MICHIGAN STATE vs OSU game is BIG.
If Little Brother upsets the Buckeyes next week....I know one poster here who will be torn in two.

Not me. After last year's debacle, I would have been happy with a 7-5 record and a flea-bag bowl game. Now MSU is ranked #13 and in position to make a trip to Indianapolis. Do I think the Spartans are the 13th best team in the NCAA? Hell no. But Dantonio has brought them along farther and faster than anyone could have expected.

Still a very young team that makes too many mistakes -- like they did against Northwestern. But consistency will come with time. We are already seeing it in the passing game. Lewerke-Davis has become a deadly combination. And we have two Freshman wideouts (White and Rison) who will be even better in the next couple of seasons.
