I agree, the WBC is pretty pointless. If they are going to have it, it should be after the WS, so if a player gets hurt, they will have time to heal up before the season. Of course this won't work, because everyone is watching football then and really no one will give a shit.

i enjoy it. i know im one of the few. it sucks for pitchers but it seems like hitters who do well in it have good seasons

While doug is away getting his spine replaced, I'll try to keep you up on Tiger homerism.

Tigers, showing their usual heart, came back from a 4-0 deficit to grab a 5-4 lead on the Mets going into the bottom of the ninth. Stupid Assmouse left Boyd in too long and the Mets tied it. The game ended in a 5-5 tie because of communist influences on the game.
Anibal Sanchez gave up 4 runs in three innings and should be traded to Cleveland where he will be their #1 pitcher. Ficociellio got his 3rd homer for Detroit and will probably be this years ROY. Bet on it and bet large.
