Wish the Tigers wanted Avisail Garcia back.
After this year ... dump him. I think he's poison on the team.

This is definitely his last shot. After this year ... dump him. I think he's poison on the team.
I wish Prince Fielders wife did.Wish the Tigers wanted Avisail Garcia back.
Five years ago he had a bright future.i'll never understand the infatuation people had with Avisail Garcia. He's awful.

Yeah, hes only played one full season in the majors.Hasn't he dealt with significant injuries? He was a hot shot prospect.
Gilmer. Sprained ankle. Team USA will have to do with out the tiger great. But who cares about the "island ball tourney"???
Mondesi looked to have a real quick bat when I saw him. And he's fast.Well. Mondesi had another nice day as well as Dozier. Would make things less of a headache if those two happened to turn into decent players.
He has a nice and quick swing- it's more pitch recognition with him at this point and I suspect just watching him. So far so good- but I am hardly sold given it is spring training in the hot desert air.Mondesi looked to have a real quick bat when I saw him. And he's fast.
Now all we need is Vice to come in and say those things don't matter.
He's not exactly been a contact hitter, right? He has a nice and quick swing- it's more pitch recognition with him at this point and I suspect just watching him. So far so good- but I am hardly sold given it is spring training in the hot desert air.
I would really think so looking at his swing, bat speed, and aggression but so far he has generally been around 20-25% give or take in the minors. I wouldn't expect him to deviate too far from that until he eitherHe's not exactly been a contact hitter, right?
I just remember him yanking one down the line in Detroit last year and being caught off guard. I liked his cut.
There's always that chance for the guy who makes better contact at the MLBlevel. A) Stops being overmatched, in which case he won't be in MLB period at this point no matter how shitty Merrifield and Colon are.
B) Makes a big leap, in which case the K rate will drop to around 15% I am guessing which in modern MLB I guess masquerades as a contact hitter.
He's never not been rushed offensively so I have no idea what a finished product really looks like with him.
Tigers are 3-9 this spring. However, doug and I talked it over and we both have given Brad Ausmus a 'Vote of Confidence'...going into the season.

I can't give examples, but I've heard tales.
