A GOOD baseball analyst (@Howie115) would have seen the bullpen issue coming into the season and taken it into consideration before making predictions, like some, that Detroit would have the AL Central 'under control' by June. I think looking at the big picture and analyzing all parts of a team is more valuable than the rantings of a "rah rah" homer who spouts mono-syllabic (and often misspelled) cheers.

My worry is that Detroit will continue along this .500 W/L baseball all the way into July and stay within reach of first place in what is looking more and more like a weak AL Central. The Tigers will then sit tight, keep their veterans for the "push" in September....and be forced to enter 2018 with the basic same crew, minus a few free agents they got nothing for, and the missed opportunity to have added some prospects via trade.
