Butler playing pretty damn well

Can tell he doesn’t have his legs yet tho.

Missed 4 free throws. And was looking like he might die catching his breath before 2 of them.

Kings close victories since March 1st.

Beat Brooklyn in OT
Beat Miami in OT
Beat the Knicks on a last second shot
Beat the Lakers by 1
Beat the Griz by 1

This is the difference in being tied with the Suns at 59 losses and only having 54 losses @Bolts

Are you trying to kill the guy? That's just mean

Cavs-Sixers was bonkers. If the Raptors lose in the second round to create that ECF matchup I won't even be that mad.

Bron Bron to Philly next year just seems like a lock, doesn't it?

The way he hugs the Sixers after these games, it's almost like he is on the team already.

If the Cavs handle business in their last 2 games vs Knicks (not a given since LeBron might be resting)... the 76ers would have to win out (DAL, @ATL, MIL) to hold onto the 3 seed.

Just pointing that out since a lot of people seem to be thinking the 76ers have locked it up.

He and Simmons have a good relationship. Simmons uses Lebron's Clutch Sports as his agent.

I would be very surprised if the Sixers lost to either the Mavs or Hawks. The Bucks match may or may not matter at that point.

The problem is that the player's association does everything they can to discourage players from doing that. When stars take less, it impacts the market for everybody else.

In other words, LeBron would actually be selfish to take a smaller deal because it would have trickle down effects across the league. Melo is clearly in a different category, but he still has more to consider than himself and the Thunder.

Exactly. Took me a little while to understand this because I'm with @Bolts that max players should take less to improve the team around them. I mean, what can you really buy for say $35 million per that you can't for $25 million per.

But, as the NBAPA knows and you point out...the guys who aren't in that category end up getting less.

Kind of twisted though that a player is technically "sacrificing" by taking more money. lol

Struggling to hold onto the 3rd seed is more psychosomatic of losing Kyrie while teams like the 76ers have gotten a shit ton better.

It also speaks to how bad things were with the Cavs before they made the trade and brought in younger guys that seem to have given Lebron some new energy.

The McGregor incident has a very WWE feel to it.....except people were actually hurt.

The more I read and hear about it, the more it sounds like a stunt that went sideways in a bad way. Not a stunt that the UFC knew about or planned...but one that McGregor planned and it got away from him.

In a vacuum, yes, that would be very surprising. In context of working on a 15-game winning streak without one of their best 2 players... wouldn't be that crazy.

The Bucks game will probably matter to some degree, but, yeah, they could be in a situation where they want to lose for the 7 seed or they could be in a position where they want to win for the 7 seed.

Yeah. Well first the Wizards have to start winning games. Losing 4 straight is not a pathway to success.

Losing to the Hawks last night was pretty embarrassing.

In another not-so-far-fetched scenario... if the Cavs go full rest mode and drop these last 2 to the Knicks, the Pacers could steal HCA from the Cavs for their first round matchup by simply winning their last 2 games vs the Hornets.

Hope he's prosecuted and serves some time.

lol Lebron hugs guys after every game. So, I guess he's going to all 30 teams next year.
