Talented with attitude, he needs to understand that the guy coaching the team and handing out minutes has a lot of experience in that area and generally knows what he's doing.

Ugh, Vince Carter with 20 years in the league just upended an airborne McCaw who landed hard and is in a lot of pain. Carter should know better

Bam was a DNP-CD and Kelly only played 18 minutes.

It was pretty clearly a small ball type of game when your 3 centers played 38 out of a possible 53 minutes.

The Nets used 1 Center tonight and he played 19 minutes.....

Whiteside is an idiot. If you can't guard the perimeter then they're not going to have you in the game when the nets are using a small forward at center

I also see it from his side.
The players on the court werent preventing the Nets from getting good looks.
In addition, the advantage on the other end of the court should be even bigger.

I get it but he would have a better point had spo used bam & kelly a lot tonight. Bam didnt play and kelly got 18 minutes. In other words, he got the most minutes of the centers on the roster. Spo decided they would play small ball and that was that.

A max player, having a good game, shouldn't sit for that long of a stretch, ever.

You think the Pistons would have sat Drummond?
You think Utah would have sat Gobert?

Miami finally got back into the game when the went with JJ at Center

The way Whiteside talks you would think he is Shaq in the post. His post game still needs a lot of work so they're not going to leave him out on the court when a team go to small ball because his offense isn't that good. Simple as that.

Maybe if he played like his max contract, he wouldn't have these issues.

Miami didn't pay him that money to avg 14 and 11. He's been a disappointment this year along with TJ, JJ, and Waiters.

We needed 2016-2017 Hassan but instead we got 2015-2016 Hassan

This blow up is creating a very unnecessary distraction. Leading up to the next game, all the players and coaches will have to answer Hassan Whiteside questions that I'm pretty sure they don't care to answer.

And I could only imagine that 3-4 days between the end of the regular season and game 1 of the playoffs will be the same deal thanks to this blow up tonight.

His PER 36 this year is better then last year or the year before.
You can't produce numbers is you're sitting on the bench.

It the Nets speed became an issue, the Heat's height and length should have became a bigger issue if the Nets want to play that small.

I'm not saying you don't match up small part of the time, but Wade and Ellington were terrible tonight.
Hassan and Kelly were good.
They need to be involved in the game.
