So, I may or may not end up winning my bet with @bksballer89, going to be close.

I will say this though. Many assumed that the Nets would be better this year because of acquisitions of players like Russell. I assumed they wouldn't because Russell is a terrible, no good selfish stat padder who makes teams worse.

The Nets are 6-19 in games where Russell plays more than 15 minutes and 14-23 in games where he doesn't. I do not think it is a coincidence that their win percentage is much better.

In other words, your best bet to win our bet is a Dlo shut down. Personally, I am rooting for him to play every game.

But, Dray is right about Pierce. He didn't do anything or accomplish much until Ray & KG got there. Overnight (literally) he was a champion. Didn't do squat after that either - and ended his career as a ROLE PLAYER. Gotta love the irony there.

I don't want any bench player shooting 15 or 20 times if you're shooting 35% from the field in a game.
