The roster is arguably worse than all the other Western Contenders
But If they can get Rudy Gay back, they can beat Houston. I dont believe in them for a second.
They cannot beat Golden State without Kawahi, and probably could not beat them with Kawahi.

Golden State can play ferocious defense at times. It is a real defense with downright smothering results.
They dont get enough credit for how awesome their defense is during this title stretch.

Houston is all smoke and mirrors with their defense.
D'Antoni will always be exposed by real defensive teams in a tight series.

Every year, D'Antoni tricks people into saying "This year is diffrent." because of regular season wins.

And someone will likely say it again this year.

Gay would start and be a homeless man's version of Leonard.......but they could beat any playoff team, except GS and Houston IMO. GS and Harden, CP, and co are too much IMO. The reason being Pop is their HC and he's the reason I'd take them over OKC and Minny, plus the rest of the WC (minus GS and Houston of course).

and trust me, as a native Californian we bitch about freezing to death when the temp's 60 or below out here...

in my instance though i've experienced a New York winter, and KNOW there's no comparison...

It actually been a decent winter here. Outside of those two weeks in late December/early January where it didn't 30, I have no complaints about the winter so far. Had 1 snow storm and hasn't been cold as it usually is.

February is usually the coldest month and temps been in the 40's, 50's, and now 60's/70's for the entire month

in my time there i hit NYC, Syracuse, Albany, and Watertown. the wind chill factor brought it down to -67 on a couple of days...

lol didn't think people could actually survive in weather like that...

Yeah I have no idea how people live in Syracuse, Albany, or Buffalo. That is basically normal for those folks
