OKC has no depth. They were without 2 key players but just got manhandled by the Lakers......and according to most on here, the Lakers suck.
They were down 3 starters.

Not really shocking that they lost.

But, you are correct.

They needed to address their bench scoring at the deadline and didn't.

Maybe they thought they were getting Joe Johnson.

But, didn't happen...

The Rockets made out like bandits between picking up Green, JJ, and Wright.

Depth does matter because if they lost to the Lakers......they'll lose to OKC or Houston, hell damn near any playoff team if RW or Melo miss much time.
They just beat the brakes off of the Warriors like 4 days ago.

Westbrook and Melo will be fine.

They play great against the top teams.

I said depth is more important in the regular season than playoffs. Rotation shrink in the playoffs so depth doesn't matter all that much.

They'll be fine if Melo miss time as we saw against the Warriors. If Russ miss time, of course they'll lose to nearly any playoffs team. He is a top 5 player. Unless you have 2 top 5 players like the Warriors, missing a top 5 playoffs in the playoffs will end your season.

Yep the issue is they play to the level of their competition which isn't exactly a good thing as you can see by their record against teams below .500

This Dude didn't get a ton of hype.

But, he was quietly a part of several of my most favorite TV shows.

The Wire, House of Cards, Banshee, Oz, Law and order SVU, Grimm...

The problem with midget IT is no matter how much he helps your offense, he's so bad on D (not all his fault, he's just too short) that you don't get any better. Not if you want to be a legit playoff team. He's going to be sad when he sees his contract next year.

I just hope he's off our roster by this off season...

Belinelli is available.

If they're able to get Allen and Belinelli then that is solid

In the playoffs the game slow down which plays into OKC favor. They don't play a up and down tempo like GS and Hou.

As I said before, OKC will be hell in the playoffs. Even if they lose to one of those teams in the playoffs, it is likely going to be a long 6 or 7 game series

I'm not convinced.

OKC has been inconsistent ever since PG and Melo came in. Right now, they seem to be playing well again. But, if they get to the playoffs and Westbrook starts playing hero ball like he always has and/or Melo goes back to his iso stuff, they could have a very short stay.

From a talent perspective, they are good enough to push a series with GSW or the Rockets to 6 or 7 games and maybe even pull an upset. I'm just not convinced Westbrook or Melo can resist their selfish urges when the pressure is on though.

I wouldn't mind seeing them continue to play well (even though it could cost the Lakers PG) because if they do, it could make for some epic playoff series.

Of course PG is coming to LA. He was always going to.

It's hardly a surprise to hear him say he's happy in OKC. Are people expecting him to say he's miserable, screw up team chemistry and miss the playoffs?
