Raonic serving first in the fifth. Not a good sign. It's touch and go tennis for Fed. He has to be careful. Those two break points in the fourth were crucial.

Could be over for Fed now. Serving second is always bad in a set against a big server. Match on raonic's racquet now.

Damn you Raonic. You are blowing up Fed's best chance at a slam at this stage of his career.

It's all in Murray's hands now basically. Berdy poo is gonna fold like a box of cheap cards and he owns Raonic in h2h pretty much from 2014.

good effort from fed

at this point in his career, what he's doing is still more extraordinary than ever

grass still easily his best chance to win that one last major, and i hope he's back next year

There's not many if any "back next year" for Fed unless he is actually Superman under the shirt. He is turning 35, time to face the ultimate inevitable truth. This was a very winnable slam for him. I officially give up. Will follow him till the day he retires. Hope Raonic can deny Murray and bring a fresh breath of Stale air in the men's tennis scenario. Anything is better than seeing Nole dominate.

Hopefully, Fed gives us one more go-round next year, but the end is here. He's been two steps short of his prime for a half a decade, but this year he's lost another two steps. He's about the sixth or seventh best player now. For most people, that would be an amazing accomplishment. For Roger, it is painful to watch.

I doubt any of us will ever see a better player.

He is still so supremely talented that a up and rising player with a fearsome serve like Raonic still had to rely on Fed's lapse, and possibly getting hurt to aggravate the knee surgery that Fed had done to win.

Fact of the matter is that Fed is still up there with the younger guys on tour, it all is a matter of putting the exercises and drills and his body being able to sustain all the training and recover some so he still has the edge over 93 other players and can still muster up QF and SF appearances. I say let him play until he loses consecutive slams in the early rounds.

You do realize Murray only won 2 GS right? I'm fine with either winning. Would love to see Raonic win because it would be GS #1 but Murray winning would not bother me in the least bit

i actually enjoyed that match. rare when both major finalists play well at the same time in the WTA.

so many of the women are so catty, especially with each other, and it's nice to see these 2 be so kind to one another.

chrissie evert is obnoxious, but 100 times better than cuckoo carillo.
