The Australian Open responded about the size. They are really good with email support.

The size of Melbourne Park and Olympic Park together is 40 hectares.

1 hectare = 107,639 sq ft.

40 hectares = 4,306,000 square feet.

Ok, I called the US Open asking about their size.

When going through the recorded greeting, I was getting nervous, because it didn't sound like their business hours would be open today.

The greeting said "IF it's our normal business hours, then please wait for the next attendant".

IF??? The greeting should tell you whether today is a business hour day, or if it's not.

I waited for about 2 mins, and someone answered the phone.

I asked for the size of the BJK NTC. They said they'd transfer me to the "Command Center" and that they might know.

I then asked the person at the Command Center. He said he would transfer me to Guest Services. I said "No, I was just transferred from there. Is there anyone you can ask, or anyone I can email, that might know?"

He then put me on hold.

A few minutes later, he came back and said 46.5 acres.

46.5 acres = 2,025,540 square feet.

So the size of Melbourne Park + Olympic Park is 2x the size. Interesting. Yes, it would be best if I could isolate just Melbourne Park, but that would be more difficult to find out. I'm just glad to have found some info.

From looking at a map, the BJK NTC does look spacious, so I can only imagine what Melbourne Park must feel like.

Wimbledon and the FO haven't returned my emails. I will have to keep trying. Since they're international, I can't call them. Or maybe I could if I was willing to pay an international phone call.

I also asked those places about the grounds pass question, so there's a few things they have to get back to me on.

Then you call the number and they tell you to visit their website. LOL.

You were close in your prediction, in that they'd give me the run around. They tried to transfer me between the Box Office and the Command Center, back and forth.

Also, dont need 2 grandstands. Cant wait for the new LA. I will most likely skip 2017 as well and see the new setup in 2018.

Yeah they're tearing it down and making a bigger and better armstrong wit 4,000 more seats.

It sounds like the new Armstrong is going to be so big that they need to tear down the Old Grandstand as well since they're literally right next to each other

I'm happy we're getting new courts, with roofs.

I'd prefer though having 2 courts, to 1, even if only one of those had a roof. So I'd prefer having a way to build the new Armstrong, put a roof, and keep the Old Grandstand.

The reason is because I think having more courts to play matches is better. Especially when rain might compress some of the schedule in the days after. Having more available courts means more matches being played at a single time.

I'll take Wawrinka.

He has to have not more than 2 more doublefaults than Djokovic, for the match. I think Wawrinka will double fault more (and most likely generally serve worse), and that will probably cost him.

If both players double fault a lot, even if Wawrinka only has 1 more, he will probably lose. He has to play a cleaner match.

If both players have high errors, I think it still favors Djokovic.

Wawrinka in 5.

Djokovic's tourney reminds me of FED's 2008 USO. FED won that one, but he didn't play great in most matches.

It's just that his opponents were also sloppy and made a lot of errors.

Djokovic's play seems like that, in this tourney.

Two shanks and another error give Djokovic the break for a 2 - 0 1st set lead.

Wawrinka fights off a break point, and goes on to finish the game with an ace.

Wawrinka won the most exciting point of the tiebreak.

That would be the only point he'd win in the tiebreak, as he loses the tiebreak 7 - 1.

The Joker needs a manicure I guess. They just need to change the rules. If a players cramping just let them take the timeout instead of faking an injury that's acceptable for a timeout. But I wish that Djokovic would show more class than this.

Thanky Goody Stan!! Hope Djoker's fat head gets back to correct proportions. He is really "high" from his recent exploits of invincibility, winning tournament after tournament and fans setting his pedestal on cloud 9. In the end whoever is the fitter on the day and the better game executer will always prevail. As show by Stan the Man.

All 3 sporting events that I wanted to watch today started at 1 pm.

And all 3 ended how I wanted! Yay!

Congrats to Stan the Man!

The idiot calling the Cubs/Astros game just called Nole Djovak Nokovic, by the way.

Yes such errors by commentators really make me feel embarrassed about the state of sportscasting in my adopted country.
