i hate a slow bat !!!! i don't care even if it is nolans or kim . i feel nolan has paid his dues more than anyone else on our team . i love what rickard is doing and hope he keeps it up because every game trumbo has a oh shit play in rf maybe it's i'm just used to nicks play in rf ?

And how's he supposed to speed it up if he's busy rotting on the bench? I've seen enough of Nolan that I know what he is, which is a bench player/AAAA guy. I want to know about Kim to see if he learned from Spring Training of if he made a mistake. Seriously, he can't be any worse than how Alvarez has looked so far.

scouts have talked about kim's weak arm . buck didn't think kim deserved to be on the 25 man is enough for me . chen has been the only one of these signings by the duke that has worked so far . if it's not broke don't fix it just adjust .

duke needs to be shipped to the jays . :thumb:

I like Reimold, but I honestly can't think of a past Oriole (or ANY MLB player for that matter) that's been given so many chances, whether because of injury or off the field issues. It's truly amazing...

He is still around because he can hit homers just like Alvarez

haven't seen the game yet but looks like 2 infield hits .

I'll still take two infield hits over the 1-15 Alvarez has put up thus far (which was also a single).

to be honest one of kim's hit and alvarez hit should've been E on the rays . i really don't care who does it just win baby . rickard i love that he works pitchers put him in with nolan , trumbo and pedro you have 4 that drives up pitch counts and maybe some of the others will catch on .

it want shock me if nolan does better than both trumbo and pedro for the season . i have been impressed with all the hitters at making pitchers work . part of the nolan thing is he makes our team better no matter where he plays . i pull for him so hard because he is always the under dog (also good )and who doesn't like an underdog ?
Alvarez, possibly. Trumbo, hell no.

And what a game today! Caught the end after work, 6-0!
Loved getting to Price early and roughing him up for 5 runs and having him yanked after 5 innings.

If Kim is actually serviceable, the roster crunch can always be resolved with a trade...

well trumbo , kim , alvarez all would have to be after june trade . some stupid rule about fa signings . trumbo has a history of fast starts i just hope he keeps going .

  • Jimmy Paredes is making progress in recovering from a sprained left wrist, though once he returns from the DL, MASNsports.com’s Roch Kubatko notes that the Orioles could have a bit of a roster crunch. Paredes is out of options, so he’d have to pass through waivers for the O’s to send him to Triple-A and there isn’t an obvious candidate to remove from the 25-man roster. Kubatko also notes that Mychal Givens, T.J. McFarland or Tyler Wilson could be send down once Brian Matusz makes his expected return from injury on Thursday.

Eddie Matz ESPN Senior Writer
Earlier today, a report surfaced that the Washington Nationals are pursuing the Orioles' Dan Duquette to be their team president. "I don't know anything about this, nor has anyone contacted me," said Duquette, whose contract with Baltimore runs through the 2018 season. A Nationals spokesperson said: "We are not in discussions with Dan Duquette nor are we in the market for a team president."

Am I the only one that wouldn't care if he did leave?
