That news is so comical (along with Pardy) that I had to put it in the Ongoing NHL thread as well.

This season, the Oilers have made three waiver claims: Adam Clendening, Adam Cracknell, and Adam Pardy.

The Oilers have been a house of horrors, but I didn't realize it was the Addams Family.

TSN just now:

*Stamkos is brought up with Leafs youngins*

Pierre: "...but I don't think he's going to come to Toronto anyway."
Duthie: "Are we going there?"
Others: "No, he's not being traded today."

Still talking about him/Toronto many minutes later.

Can't imagine what the Wings would've been like if that Yzerman for Lafontaine trade ever happened..

Just left for work. Don't know what was more entertaining?

Raj "the gravy boss", the prime minister race or McGuire and Farreno(sp) almost coming to blows?

TradeCentre hyperbole has begun.

On the Justin Schultz move:
"What this move shows is where we are in Sidney Crosby's career...making moves by panning for gold in the bottom of the stream. Rutherford, bless him, but this shows Crosby won't ever have postseason glory again."

I mean, holy shit man. I realize they're not in the same place they were a few years ago...but it was a move for a 6/7 defenseman that cost not a ton. I mean, breathe.

That's some hard hitting Twatwaffle reporting for ya. "I saw Kerby Rychel. MUST MEAN HE'S GONNA BE TRADED"

Paliotta and Bourque already at Lake Erie, Kerby there now. There's a playoff run going on and those are the guys they want on it. I am not sure Rychel gets traded unless he asks for it. If they thought Wennberg or Karlsson would clear they'd be sent too. I expect Joonas to wind up sent down soon.

Rychel sent down, Bobby Mac says could still be traded, Lou Lamoriello engaged in talks to send Lupul to Columbus...

I'd keep Rychel. Same size, similar game, but Rychel is 10 years younger and 6 mil cheaper. If they want to dump Lupul on us, they get Clarkson back.

Of all their recent trades...this is the one they'd want to try again?

It's the only one they might stand a chance of reversing. They really want the Seguin trade back, but Jim Nill laughed so hard he sharted.

Is the plan to qualify Schultz next season?
